We are truly sorry to hear that you are struggling with hatred in your heart. It's important to remember that God calls us to love, even our enemies. Jesus said, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. As children of God, we are to be a reflection of Jesus. Our attitude and actions should be love for everyone. If we do not forgive, then our Heavenly Father will not forgive our sins. But if we do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved child of Yours who is struggling with hatred in their heart. We know that this is not Your will for them, as You have called us to love, even our enemies. We pray that You would fill their heart with Your love, driving out any hatred or bitterness. Help them to forgive, just as You have forgiven us all through Jesus Christ. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, giving them strength and wisdom to overcome this struggle. Remind them of Your unfailing love and let us not love in word only, but in deed and truth. Help them to be a true reflection of Jesus in all situations. We ask and trust this prayer in Jesus’ name.
Let us encourage you to meditate on the love of God. God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. Remember that God loves you with an everlasting love, and He wants you to share that love with others.
We encourage you in the future to end your prayers with in Jesus' name or a similar phrase. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in the book of Acts and I quote, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
