We come before the Lord with a heart to seek His will and wisdom in this situation. First, we must address the language and approach in this request, as it reflects a misunderstanding of how we are called to relate to God. Scripture teaches us that we do not "demand," "command," or "declare" things into existence as if we hold authority over God. Instead, we humbly submit our desires to Him, trusting in His perfect plan and timing. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Our prayers should align with God’s will, not our own demands.
We also notice the focus on seeking a boyfriend rather than a godly spouse. The Bible calls us to pursue relationships with the intention of marriage, not merely dating for companionship. If you are seeking a relationship, we encourage you to pray for a spouse—a man who loves the Lord, honors His Word, and is committed to a Christ-centered marriage. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). Courtship should be entered into with the goal of marriage, not just temporary companionship.
Additionally, we must address the mention of desiring a boyfriend who "isn’t gay." Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that design is not in alignment with God’s will. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join to his wife, and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB). We must pray for clarity and conviction in this area, asking God to guard our hearts from anything that contradicts His Word.
We also lift up your desire for normalcy in your family, friendships, and pets. It is natural to long for stability and peace, and we can bring these concerns to the Lord. "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). However, we must remember that true peace comes from God, not from our circumstances. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27 WEB).
Lastly, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).

Bring peace and stability, but more importantly, draw us closer to You so that we may experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to this heart, that they may know You personally and surrender their life to Jesus Christ if they have not already. May they find true fulfillment in You alone.
We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or control that seeks to dictate outcomes rather than trust in You. Help us to surrender our desires to Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
