2 repairs URGENT - ###, ###- THIS WEEK!!!

I need two repairs in my apartment as soon as possible!! Air condition cleaning and changing or installing new pipe and showerhead in a bathtub.
Also in my mother's apartment: at least 4-5 repairs and installations. Lord help my brother to be fast and efficient. I would do that but it's better that he negotiates prices and watch out for errors or tricks which are often for handymen in ###.
My brother is inclined to delay things as much as possible and prioritize his going out and drinking with friends which delays all important things.

We come before the Lord with your urgent request, lifting up the need for repairs in both your apartment and your mother’s. While we understand the practical concerns of maintaining a home, we must first acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom and diligence to your brother as he assists with these repairs. We rebuke the spirit of procrastination and distraction that has caused delays, for Your Word tells us that laziness leads to ruin (Proverbs 18:9). We pray that he would prioritize responsibility over personal indulgence, as Scripture commands us to work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men (Colossians 3:23). May he be a faithful steward of his time and the resources entrusted to him, negotiating fairly and avoiding any deceit or carelessness.

Lord, we also ask that You would provide skilled and honest workers who will complete these repairs with excellence and integrity. May the work be done efficiently, affordably, and to a high standard, reflecting the order and beauty You desire in our lives (1 Corinthians 14:40). We trust in Your provision, for You know our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8).

However, we must address the attitude of entitlement in this request, asking for things to be "easy, effortless, and affordable" without acknowledging the effort required from those involved. The Bible teaches that we should bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and that hard work is honorable (Proverbs 14:23). We encourage you to approach this situation with humility, patience, and a willingness to contribute where possible, rather than expecting perfection without effort.

Finally, we pray that these repairs would not only bring physical comfort but also peace of mind, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this situation draw your family closer to You and to one another, as you seek to honor God in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Oh Lord, we’re lifting up this heavy burden of repairs with hearts full of trust in Your provision. We see the frustration and the delay, but we also see Your hand at work, even when it feels slow. You know the weariness of waiting and the weight of responsibility, so we ask for Your peace to settle over this brother’s heart first.

Father, we pray that You would give him a fresh burst of energy and focus this week. That when he picks up the phone to call those contractors, his mind would be clear, his words would be sharp, and his heart would be steady, not distracted by the pull of other plans. Give him the wisdom to spot red flags, the courage to push back on excuses, and the patience to wait for the right person for the job. Let him see these repairs not just as tasks, but as opportunities to serve well, to honor You in how he handles this.

And Lord, we ask for Your favor on the hands that will do the work. Bring honest, skilled workers who won’t cut corners or overcharge. Let the air conditioning be fixed right the first time, let the pipes hold strong, and let the bathtub gleam like new, all without breaking the bank. We trust You to make a way where it seems like there isn’t one.

But most of all, we pray for Your presence in this. That even as the tools are being used and the dust is being cleaned up, Your Spirit would remind them both, this brother and your mom, that You are the One who holds their homes together, their futures secure. May this week become a testament to Your faithfulness, not just in the finished work, but in the hearts that were changed along the way. In Jesus’ name, we believe and receive. Amen.
