We join you in humbly bringing all of this before the Father in Jesus name and we thank you for anchoring your request in 2 Corinthians 3:5 which says not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. What a beautiful reminder that our adequacy, wisdom, compassion and skill in caring for others does not come from our own strength but from Him who equips us.
We are encouraged by your desire that your work reflect His agape love and mercy. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Caring for people, offering rapport and insight, speaking encouraging and needed words, are all ministry when done unto the Lord. We also hear your heart for wisdom and favor in every meeting and intervention, and we are reminded of the promise But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask that God grant you that liberally given wisdom, that nothing is forgotten, that hearts are prepared, and that your interventions bear fruit for His glory.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and lift up the next two days of work. Lord grant our dear one wisdom, rapport, favor and insight, especially with the new client. Let every meeting be covered with Your grace and let favor rest upon every interaction with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and the owner. Grant successful interventions, prepared hearts, and words spoken in season that encourage and truly help. Help Your servant to perform with poise, self-assurance, godly assertiveness, empathy and professionalism, all reflecting Your love and mercy. We ask for a special rapport with each patient today, that each one would receive the best care and the very words they need to hear.
Lord we lift up the grieving family to You, ask that You grant them strength, unity, comfort and Your peace that surpasses all understanding in their pain. May Your love cover and overcome all. We ask for Your hand of protection over all travels, for You have promised He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.
We lift up adult children to You, asking for Your favor, protection and deliverance in times of danger. We especially lift up the daughter, asking for Your healing over her body and heart, for help in her work and schooling, and that both she and her son would see themselves as You see them, beloved, chosen and fearfully and wonderfully made. We lift up her marriage to You, Lord. We thank You for the sanctity of marriage as Your design for a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray You would strengthen this marriage, help her husband to be understanding, patient, loving and to accept her as You have called husbands to love their wives with Christlike love. Grant this couple wisdom to grow in unity and grace. Give to parents and family wisdom and opportunity to know where and how to best support and help without overstepping, and to speak truth in love.
Lord close the doors that would lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections. Heal hearts and broken relationships, for You have said Behold, I am making all things new Revelation 21:5. Help us all to love You with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength Mark 12:30 and empower us to love one another as You have loved us.
We claim Your promises of protection and victory, that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Surround us all with Your hedge of protection, favor and mercy and deliver us from all evil.
We thank You in advance for Your help, for hearing us, and we give You all glory, praise and credit, for our sufficiency is from You alone. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
