Prepare to Meet Thy God
The Ministry of Gratitude
We are praying with you and thank you for sharing these requests so openly. We agree with you that our adequacy is not from ourselves but from God, as you quoted from 2 Corinthians 3:5, and we ask Him to be your strength and wisdom for the next two days of caring for people.

We pray that the Lord will give you rapport and insight with your new client and with every patient you see, that your work would reflect His agape love and mercy, and that He would grant you wisdom, favor, and successful interventions. We ask that hearts would be prepared, that nothing needed would be forgotten, and that you would speak encouraging and needed words to each person. We pray for favor with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and the owner, and that you would serve with poise, self assurance, assertiveness, empathy and professionalism, offering hospitality for God's sake with a cheerful and attentive spirit.

We lift up the grieving family you mentioned, asking God to grant strength, unity, comfort and peace in their pain, and that His love would cover all. We ask for His protection over all of you in your travels, and for His hedge of protection, favor and deliverance from evil according to His promises in Psalm 91, Psalm 121, Isaiah 54:17, 1 John 4:4, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 and Revelation 21:5.

We continue to lift your adult children, asking that they would be favored and protected in times of danger, and that your daughter would be healed and helped in her work and schooling. We pray that both your daughter and your son would see themselves as God sees them, and we pray for your daughter's marriage, that God would work in it and that her husband would grow in understanding, patience and love, and that both would be strengthened to honor their covenant. We ask God to give you wisdom and opportunity to support and help them well, to close doors that would lead to harm and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections.

We pray that God would heal hearts and broken relationships, and empower you all to love Him with heart, mind, soul and strength and to love one another with long suffering love, which is the root of all excellence. May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Your honest dependence on God is beautiful and right, for as you quoted, our adequacy is not from ourselves but from God. That is the true starting place for every good work, and especially for the caring work you do.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, and with all our getting we are to get understanding. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a humble reverence that looks to Him for everything. That wisdom is better than rubies and better than riches, and all that can be desired cannot compare to it, because wisdom gives life to those who have it and becomes a defense and a preserving strength in daily life.

Wisdom is not mere knowledge or facts. There is a wisdom of this world that is earthly and leads to strife and envy, but there is a wisdom from above that is pure and peaceable and bears good fruit. That true wisdom is found in Christ Himself, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness. When we ask Him for wisdom, He pours out His Spirit of wisdom and understanding, and He speaks to us and guides us.

I join you in asking the Father in Jesus name to grant you that wisdom from above for the work before you. May He give you clear insight and understanding for each person you serve, especially the new client, and grant you genuine rapport that reflects His agape love and mercy. Ask Him to give you the right words at the right time, words that encourage and truly help, and to grant successful interventions with hearts prepared to receive them. Pray that nothing needed would be forgotten, and that you would be able to serve with poise, self assurance, empathy, assertiveness and professionalism, all as an offering to Him.

May the Lord grant you favor with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and those in authority, and may all the glory be His. For the grieving family you mentioned, may He grant strength and comfort and peace in their pain, and let His love cover and sustain them in unity.

I also join you in lifting up your travels, asking for His protection over you and all those with you, according to His promises that He is our refuge and keeper, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world, and that He is faithful to guard us from evil. May He make all things new in His time.

For your adult children, I pray the Lord will keep them, protect them in danger, favor them and lead them. For your daughter, may He bring healing, help her in her work and schooling, and help both your daughter and your son to see themselves as He sees them, valued and loved in Christ. For your daughter's marriage, may He work to deepen understanding, patience and acceptance between them, building that lifelong covenant of love as He intends marriage to be. May He give you wisdom to know how and when to support and help, closing doors that would lead to harm and opening doors to good opportunities and kind Christian connections.

And for the deeper cries of your heart, may He heal broken hearts and broken relationships, empower you to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love one another, and deliver you all from evil, surrounding you with His hedge of protection and favor.

May all praise and credit be given to the Lord who alone is adequate and who alone gives wisdom and life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your request before the Father, remembering the word you shared in 2 Cor 3:5 that our adequacy is from God. We prayed for those two days of work caring for people, for rapport and insight with the new client, and for wisdom, favor, and successful interventions in all meetings. We prayed that your work would reflect His agape love and mercy, that nothing would be forgotten, that prepared hearts would be present, and that you would be granted poise, self assurance, assertiveness, empathy and professionalism. We also prayed for favor with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues and the owner, for a special rapport with each patient that encouraging and needed words would be spoken, for the grieving family to be given strength, unity, comfort and peace, and for protection in all travels.

We have also prayed for your adult children for favor and protection in times of danger, for your daughter for healing and help in her work and schooling, for both your daughter and son to see themselves as God sees them, for your daughter's marriage that her husband would be understanding and patient, for wisdom and opportunity for you to support and help them, for doors that lead to harm to be closed and doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections to be opened, for healing of hearts and broken relationships, for grace to love God with heart, mind, soul and strength and to love one another, and for deliverance and a hedge of protection and favor according to His promises in Psalm 91:1, Psalm 121:1, Isa 54:17, 1 John 4:4, 2 Thess 3:3 and Rev 21:5.

If your request was answered and you saw His provision in those work days, in the new client relationship, in interventions and favor, or in your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you and give all glory and praise to the Lord. If your request does not seem to have been answered, whether for your patients and workplace or for your daughter, son and the grieving family, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We now pray together in Jesus Name that the Lord will continue to be your sufficiency, to guide your words and actions in caring for others, to establish the work of your hands, to heal and restore your family, to lead and protect you in all your ways, and to draw you all closer to Him. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
