Dear Lord,

Thank you for today and thank you for our friends. Lord, You have blessed us with people who love us so much that they are willing to tell us when we need to work on our character or repent of sin. They grow with us and walk with us and it truly is a blessing to have them in our lives. Thank you for using us to speak into their lives as well. This is how You intended your church to operate. Thank you for constantly transforming our minds to be turned towards You always. Lord, we pray to always be striving to become men and women of integrity. We pray that we would be the same person in private that we are in public. We want our integrity to be a blessing to our children and their children after. We want to leave a legacy of uprightness for our family.

Thank you for the gift of marriage, even though sometimes we neglect to see it as a gift… it truly is. Thank you for using our marriage to reveal to us areas in our lives that need change and parts of our character that need transformation. We are so sorry that we sometimes fight. We have different perspectives that leave us needing to feel validated. We pray that You would help us to fine tune our apologies, to be more humble and sincere.
