Marriage

Dear Lord,

It says in Psalms 145:18, “The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” We call upon You right now in truth! We thank You for listening to our prayers and responding! Lord, we desperately want our marriages to be transformed by Your great love for us. We want to experience every good thing You designed for us in marriage. Please transform our marriages and transform us. Be near to us, Lord, and walk with us through this journey!

In Jesus’ name...

 

Dear Lord,

We desire to obtain Your favor in our lives. We want to live a life that is pleasing to You. We want a marriage that is glorifying to Your name. Lord, make our thoughts full of justice. Keep wickedness far from our mouths and make our actions upright. Lord, You are worthy of all praise and all honor. Thank you!

Dear Lord,

We need more of You! We realize that we cannot live day to day without You in our lives. Thank you for always pursuing us, regardless of us pursuing You. Fill our hearts with a desire to seek You, and fill us with a desire to search You. We pray that we can focus on You daily, as You guide us. May our marriage reflect the love Christ has for the Church. Wrap us in Your love O Lord!

Please teach us to be wise in every way, but especially in our finances. It can be hard to manage our accounts and spending, but we know that we need to be better at it. Remind us that we always need to put You first when it comes to giving and tithing. Help us to make wise financial decisions that honor You and protect our family. Teach us Lord!

We pray for all those who are about to, or are in the process of moving. Moving is hard and inconvenient. We pray that you would give peace to these families. Give them strength to hold up emotionally and physically. Lord, bring lots of people around them to help so that they don’t feel alone in the process.

We know that we are not trusting You fully when we do this, so please help us to trust You more. Take away all our anxiety and fears about the future. You say in Your word that there is more to life than money or clothing or food. Please help us to focus on the things that matter most...
