Whenever I set out to do something I feel You have called me to do, a goal that I have committed to, or anything really important to me, I immediately feel resistance. Dear God,

I pray that my husband and I are always willing to play games with each other. There is so much joy and laughter when we do! I also pray that as we play games we keep a healthy balance of competition and grace. So often, we start to bicker or take things personally when we are just motivated to win according to the rule book. I pray we can play games without walking away upset or angry.
