Dear Lord,

As my husband and I look forward to the new year, I pray we would submit our goals and desires before You. I pray You would be the one to direct our hearts and show us the way You want us to go or the things You want us to do together. I pray we would pursue You passionately. I pray we would do all that You ask of us with courage. I pray we enjoy this next year together as our marriage continues to mature in Jesus’ name AMEN!

I pray my husband and I would embrace all that You have for us this next year. I pray You would direct our steps. We can be good at making plans and setting goals, but we desire to do Your will. Dear Heavenly Father,

Marriage is a dance. Every day my husband and I dance with each other in conversation, we dance through our daily routines, and sometimes we spontaneously dance with each other in the kitchen. Marriage is a dance. I pray that my husband and I continue to dance, that we would embrace one another as we come together to do life with purpose.
