I recently read and commented on a question that was posted on another site about King David. The question was...King David was anointed by God but how did he still sin and struggle with lust? Good question.....My answer was Yes..he WAS anointed by God but he was still a Man and the flesh is weak. Because HE was anointed by God it was up to God to punish him. God did punish him but he also FORGAVE him and gave him another son. I look to this and say "Let God do the judging and punishing and he EVEN forgives. So many people these days want to condemn people and never forgive them and don't give them a second chance. They have to remember, in order to be forgiven you have to forgive.
I just don't understand. I just can't comprehend how anyone cannot see the reality of our Father, the Creator. All you have to do is look around the world and see him. He is in the clouds and the blue skies. He is in the raindrops and the snow. He is in the sunshine and the birds as they sing. He is in the honey bees and the flowers. He is in the ocean and all the sea creatures, great and small. He is in the moon, the stars, the sun, all of the galaxies and planets. He is in the meadows, the streams, the animals, the rivers and the mountains. He is in the forests and the deserts. He is everywhere. Do we get so lost in our daily lives and material worlds that we get blind to it all?? There are those who actually believe it all happened...
Mar 4:3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: 4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. 5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: 6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. Mar 4:14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but...
I would like You to receive the same thing I am praying for and receive it in Faith Heavenly Father — Elohim I pray that You would make me Pillar of Faith and Pillar with Apostolic, Prophetic or Evangelist calling in the Temple of God. I pray strength. Strength to defeat the satan. Strength to be established on the foundation of rock: Jesus Christ. Strength when trials and storms come in life. Strengthened by the Spirit in the Inner Man. Strengthened when I am weak. Let all weakness perish. I come against with You in agreement to the spirits who operate with fear and unbelief, doubt, weakness and infirmity. I come against them in Jesus Name and I command them to Go in Jesus Holy and Glorious Name. I release Strength from the Word of...
TEN THINGS ABOUT STANDING - Part 1 So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:32-33 My wife, ###, and I thought that July 7, 1987 was the end of the story of our marriage restoration. At 2:00 p.m. that day we were remarried to each other. When we awoke that morning, living 100 miles apart, neither of us had any idea that would be the day for which ### had prayed, fasted, and stood so earnestly. The Holy Spirit moved mightily that day, and that evening we went to bed as "newlyweds." Little did we know what...
JUSTICE TO YOUR ELECT And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh...
WORSHIP THE RISEN SAVIOR Today is the Lord’s Day, so let’s worship and praise the Lord before you do anything else. Are you going through a difficult time right now after Easter? Has your marriage fallen apart? Has your spouse left home? Have you found out there is another person? Are you having to sell your home and move somewhere else? Never forget the power of Resurrection Sunday. Jesus knows every one of your problems that you are facing right now. He is the only One to give you hope and answers in the midst of your storm. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The Lord will help you through your life, your marriage or any crisis. Trust in the Lord. But now, this is what the LORD says—he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed...
"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO FOR YOU?" Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Mark 10:50-51 My question to you today is, “What is your most urgent prayer request?” It may be for your spouse's salvation, for your marriage restoration, for your finances, for the healing of your children’s hearts or the healing of a family member. We always close our Monday Night Bible Studies in a large circle for prayer. We tell anyone who desires to pray at least one or two sentences crying out to the Lord for their most urgent prayer request for that week and the others will pray in agreement with them. Imagine if Jesus would...
Led By the Spirit (to ###) From: Let Me Tell You a Story, pages 60-62, © 2000 by Tony Campolo When it comes to being led by the Spirit, sometimes there’s a lot of fun to be had. Several years ago I was invited to speak at a small Pentecostal college located near Eastern College, where I teach. I love going to this little school because the people there seem to be so in touch with the power of the Holy Spirit. Before the chapel service, several of the faculty members took me into a side room to pray with me. I got down on my knees and the six of them put their hands on my head and prayed for me, asking the Holy Spirit to fill me up and use me effectively as I spoke to the students. Pentecostals seem to pray longer and with more...
