Today for devotions I decided to visit the porter's house, I wanted to learn what God was saying to Jeremiah in chapter18:2, One of the very first things that I was taught is that, God can speak to us in many ways and forms and so he decided to speak to Jeremiah through a display, he knew that seeing the actual thing would get the message across even greater, as it did for me as well. The bible tells us in the very same Jeremiah that he,"the Lord" knows the thoughts that he has towards us, it did not say we know the thoughts, but rather it says God knows the thoughts he has for us and many times we act like the verse reads we know the thoughts the Lord has for us. Worry not for the things of this earth. All things shall pass away, but Gods word and His wonderful promises will never ever pass away. As we get old and our hair gets gray and wrinkles comes out in our faces, our eyes are wide open to see the promises of God coming to pass. His eternal promise to all of us is this. I hope everyone is doing well. But I want to talk to you about the meaning of this life as we know it. If you're similar to me, at times you may think about life beyond earth. Wondering what Heaven is like, or to finally see God face to face, have your questions answered that's been lingering, or to try and have the slightest understanding of the mind of God. But there is one thing that's sure. Our time here on earth I always like to say is an audition for earning a spot in heaven. We should take that seriously. It isn't enough to just say "I’m a good person so I know I'm going to heaven". There is more to it than that. Who in this world will lead us all to heavens gates? In whom do we trust? Which way should we take? Pray, fast before the Lord and ask to send a wonderful, caring and loving individual who fears God above all things. God alone sends angels along our way and He will provide for us the right person to lead us and to bless us. America is a Christian Country. So all Christians should fast and pray. Aks and ye shall receive says the Lord. What are we asking of the Lord today? Whom are we gona trust? Believe God. Trust in Him. The Pilgrims and the Puritans founded this country for the glory of God. So, let us all look up and trust God to do His will. Because Jesus loves us all and wants us all entering heavens gates... let us all give Him praise that tells that the whole will bow down before Him and says that He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Give Him praise with gospel choirs where songs of adoration rise up to heaven. All angels bow down before Him. Nearer my God to Thee. Even though it be a cross that raiseth me. Still all my song shall be Nearer my God to Thee.

Heavy laden and weak I have come before the Lord. He shines before our eyes. Bowing down before Him and asking for mercy and compassion. He is so gentle and so pure. He reaches His holy hands and says. I am with you. Never ever fear anything. Continue the journey to heavens gates. This world is not your home. Your home is in heaven. You alone are holy o Lord. You alone are worthy of all praise. You deserve all the glory from our hearts. Let Your praises fill our heart. The sacrifice of praise. For Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes. I have walked in Thy truth. Psalm 26.3

Bless the Lord all the time. Jesus deserves our worship. Pray and fast that the right leader will be sent from heaven.

I think we have to remember that in a democracy, such as the U.S.A., The People choose the President. It is "government by the people." It is historical fact that at one time over 70% of Americans not only attended church, but also mid-week services, around 1930. Last I saw that figure was down to around 3%. We are a post-Christian nation. We can't expect a Godly leader from an ungodly nation. Jesus said, " A bad tree cannot produce good fruit." When the Israelites asked Samuel for a King, God said they were rejecting Him, not Samuel (1 Sam 8:7). Praying for America to continue to be a Christian country. A place where missionaries are trained and sent to the world to be a light that shines for Jesus. God gives many blessings to all His children who love Him with all their heart, mind and soul. The biggest blessing that He has given us is His only begotten Son wo came to earth to save us from all sin and evil. And He is coming back soon to earht to take us all home to glory. Remeber His promise. I am going to prepare a place for you. That where I am ... there you may be also.
