Father, we love You, we praise You, we adore Your holy name. Glorify Your name on all the earth. In our lives, in our homes, in our work. Glorify Your name o Lord. Blessed are they whose ways are blameless. Who walk according the the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep all His statues and seek Him with all their hearts. Psalm 119.1,2 Those special moments spend with the Lord, will open our hearts to love Him more than ever before. Then we shall say... You are my hiding place... You fill my heart with joy. Bless the Lord o my soul...and all that is within me ... Bless His holy name. Amen
Help us give "real prayers" for people's requests in Jesus name. It is so tempting to read a few lines and click "Quick Reply" and not actually request anything from the Father... Much less believe we actually received what we prayed for according to Gods will (1 John 5:13-14). God's will is His Scripture... Maybe we could just quote a pertinent verse and pray in accord with it? It would be profitable since all scripture is inspired and useful for training in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16). Perhaps we could put a little personalization into it and not just the same generic prayer for every person with every request? Help us pray not just "click" -- give us freedom to access heaven's Mercy Seat clothed with the...
When Jesus told us to go into the whole world to preach the gospel He meant to open our house for prayer, for bible study, for feeding the hungry and clothing the naked. The whole world means our next door neighbors to invite them in and giving them the Bread of Life that is written in HIs word. Heavens gates will be opened when we obey Gods word. The thoughts of the Lord are far above our own thoughts. He is Almighty, all powerful and giver of life. The thought of God are filled with hope, with joy and He wants to bless each one of us who love Him with all our heart, mind and soul. O the glory of Gods mercy and kindness. Let us all raise our voice in praise, in honor and adoration to Him who lives forever and ever. Amen
Psalm 27:10 (NKJV) When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me. As a young boy I saw this very scripture come to pass in my life. My dad passed away in 1971 and it was a terrible loss for me. I looked up to my dad as he was our protector, provider, teacher, basically our covering for our every need. Then all of a sudden that security and comfort was snatched away from me. After my dad's death, my mother was going through the early stages of Alzheimer’s and wasn't thinking very clearly. She had the burden of two twin teenage boy's and couldn't deal with that so she threw our clothes out of the house and left us a note, telling us basically we had to fend for ourselves from that day on...
These are believers that are not ashamed of our Lord before the world. This is who we were called to be! A light to the world. Imagine now this as we stand together before the throne of our God. Ephesians 5:8 "For at one time you were in darkness, but now you are a light in the Lord. Walk as children of light." Matthew 5:14 "You are a light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Psalm 34:3 "O magnify...
John 15:2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit." Prune: verb; trim (a tree, shrub, or bush) by cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth. Today was my chore day. I needed to do what I least like to do. Prune back my huge trees so that branches will thicken, grow, and produce more fruit. As I was well into this timely and difficult chore, I noticed that there were many dead branches. But I never saw them before because they were hidden among the good branches. (I think you can see where I am going with this). The more I got into the middle of the tree, the larger and more in...
Test, trials, and tribulations...we, as believers, will all go through them. The Lord has told us we will. Acts 14:22 "strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God." The further we are in our relationship with God, the harder the tests and trials. If not, we would be taking a step backward instead of forward. Yes, I have been there. I have been drug through the very fires of hell. And I questioned God! I have been brought to my knees and crushed with the weight of fear and doubt. We will all be tested to that point. Here is what I have learned on my walk of faith. Be on guard when you are asking these questions and...
PLEASE REMEMBER TO ASK GOD TO PROTECT OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT, GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY -- Remember how David was concerned to "not stretch out his hand against God's anointed" (authority) and Paul says to pray for and fear authority -- "they are God's servants" (1 Samuel 18- 2 Samuel 8; Romans 12, 1 Tim 2:1-5). Forgive the bloodshed in America and the attempts of wicked men -- from wicked men comes forth wickedness David said -- In Jesus' Name. Study Bible David Spares Saul …12"May the LORD judge between you and me, and may the LORD avenge me on you; but my hand shall not be against you. 13"As the proverb of the ancients says, Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness; but my hand shall not be against you... 1 Sam...
Father I ask you pour out Your Spirit on Pastors, Missionaries, Evangelists and Churches worldwide. May sermons be filled with Light and Truth and may preachers come straight from the prayer closet. Give leaders and layman encounters in Worship and during preaching and wash Your Son's Bride with the Water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26) . Give your angels charge over congregants and assist people to come together to celebrate the resurrection and partake in communion until The Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his holy angels in flaming fire (2 Thes 1:7-8), Amen.
