Whatever you are feeling inside your soul that eventually pass away and will remember no more. But if the Lord has touched your heart, mind and soul, then that feeling, that thought will never pass away. His presence in our life is eternal. His love is never ending. He cares for us so much. Give us the heart of Jesus. Full of mercy. Full of compassion. Full of love. You will feel sad forever. No tears wil fall from your cheeks. No one will hurt you no more. Jesus is the center of your life. At some point, you and I will feel happy forever. Give us the heart of Jesus. Full of peace, joy and hapiness. In time, we shall feel calm again. The tempest of life will be done away with. Jesus calmed the strongest storms on...
We often wonder where hapiness comes from. Why we cannot find it and where we should go to get it. People around us want to enjoy life more fully. This journey is sometimes hard to find. But Jesus is the center of all joy. He is the One who send peace and joy in our lives. If we just spend time with Him, all troubles and all tribulations will fade away. All the fortunes of this world will not make our hearts sing. Money and power will make us worry and stray from our God. Seek the Lord with all your heart. Love Him more than ever before. He is ready to bless your life and give meaning to our existence.
It's fitting this is the 51st Blog entry since it piggybacks off Don's recent blog – SIN – which expounds Psalm 51 – David's prayer of confession after Nathan rebukes him for the sins of Bathsheba and Uriah. In brief, David sinned "His Great Sin" and suffered in many ways. He suffered spiritually before he confessed after being called out, then he and his family suffered, Bathseba and Uriah definitely suffered, the baby born to Bathseba suffered, the whole army and morale in general suffered (Joab had to tell the warriors to draw back so Uriah would fall) -- even The Kingdom of Israel ultimately suffered... I think it is interesting that not many people notice David had had a major blind spot in his life PRIOR TO this sin...
"SIN" A quote I once heard Ravi Zaccharias say was, Sin will take you farther than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay.” King David’s sin took him farther from God’s face than he ever imagined. The greatest pain of his life came during his separation from God’s hand of blessing and favor. He couldn’t bear the thought of losing his relationship with the One he loved the most. We can see this in the prayer David prayed after he had fallen into sin. David prayed, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me...
There have been times in my life where I’ve been placed in situations where I had to choose on purpose to believe what the word of God says over how I feel, over what the situation looks like, times when I had to really fight. I am not sure if you've ever been there but even if you haven't then come share in my experience. Today was another day where I was to be taught by God that very same lesson about believing his word above all else. In Acts 27, Paul who was at the time a prisoner, together with some others, found themselves in a boat on a sea and verse 14 tells us there arose a tempestuous wind, which got so bad that they had to get rid of some things, they got to the point where they had neither sun nor stars appear...
1Cor,10:13 reads there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to be it. It's hard sometimes, to see clearly when we are faced with trials. Sometimes it is so severe that you wonder if God is asleep literally, it's even harder sometimes to even believe that God has a plan in all of this, but really, does he? Does God have a plan? In the book of Genesis starting from chapter 37 we are introduced to a young man by the name of Joseph, who had a dream(God's plan), we follow the story where it tells of his various trials, thrown in a pit, a 17...
Did you tell God you love Him today? That's all He ever really requires of us: LOVE, freely and openly with all our heart, soul and strength. Being all powerful, He could make us love him. But forced love isn't real love at all (it's a lie). God will have nothing to do with lies. TELL HIM . . .OUT LOUD!!! ❤️I love you LORD!❤️
