I think we have to remember that in a democracy, such as the U.S.A., The People choose the President. It is "government by the people." It is historical fact that at one time over 70% of Americans not only attended church, but also mid-week services, around 1930. Last I saw that figure was down to around 3%. We are a post-Christian nation. We can't expect a Godly leader from an ungodly nation. Jesus said, " A bad tree cannot produce good fruit."
