I spent last weekend in jail for sleeping in a hospital waiting room. Like Jesus, I was handed over to authorities by my own people. But, because someone had mercy and showed me compassion, I am, once again, free, though I still have to stand before the judge. (Whew! I almost had a little praise break). I really could end it right there, but Isaiah 58:1 just won't let me. God's Creation is beautiful. He created every bird, flower, tree, and us. Look around at creation and it will help you know God. He created this beautiful earth for us. Sadly, we ruin it with pollution and ungodly behavior. Take a moment outside to admire God's creation and to thank and praise him for it.

All our elected officials need Jesus. All candidates on Election time need God in their life. Without Gods direction and mercy we shall not accomplish anything. Upon Gods word we rest. We believe in every word that is written down. Pray for those in power. Kings, governors, presidents. God is the One who puts them there. There is nothing like being a part of a family yet always remaining apart. A young mother in our family had to have her leg amputated. She is depressed and cannot seem to overcome her sadness and the unfairness of it. She has three children and is in physical rehabilitation and has complications from mersa sores that are slow in healing. I send her very brief messages (2) so far. One has gone unanswered. Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His saints. We bow down befor the Lord our God. He is the Maker of all good things for all of us. He brought us here to earth to be His wonderful witness and He can take us all to heaven. Blessed be His holy name. Amen
