But, instead of speaking what God had commanded, right away, I began to think of ways that I could still pray for Florida, without actually praying for the people. Q: Why does God love us? I know that God is a God of love, but why does He love us sinners? A: God loves us because He is love. I know of no better way to describe it. God doesn't love us because we deserve or have somehow earned His love, He loves us because in His love He has forgiven our sins and adopted us as His children. God loves us not because of who or what we are, He loves us despite of who or what we are. Q: Why does it seem that those who believe in God have a worse time (as in more problems, troubles, suffering, etc.) then the unsaved? We believe in God, we are His children. Shouldn't we have an easier time of it? A: To begin with, a common misconception amongst Christians is that we, as children of God, should have an easy time of things. This is not the case.
