What does our Lord tell us about the forgiveness of sins? There is more to be said about this than just the apparent. There are so many scriptures on what is required for the forgiveness of sins. Every Christian is familiar with 1 John 1:9. “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” And Romans 10:13: “Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved”. But what about those who call upon His name as just a “safeguard”? Those who call upon His name to forgive them their sins and then just continue on with their sinful lives? And yes, this includes many who proclaim His name. Those who declare themselves to be Christians; Believers; Followers of the Lord...
In Matt 6:9-10, Jesus briefly reminds us how we should pray to God as a Father, and gives us three God-focused petitions or priorities to pray (His Name Be Honored, His Kingdom Be Promoted [and Actually Appear in Fullness] and His Will would Be Known and Done). These we would never think to do on our own without His teaching, but are prone to skip them and not Focus on God but merely throw our concerns before the God who is worshiped by all of Heaven and Earth... Our Father in Heaven -- we were all brought into the status as Children of God through Jesus Christ The Only Begotten Son and given adoption and acceptance in Him -- Everything that's His became Ours through the wedding ring of Faith -- Our Identity is we are children of God...
We need to remain sensive to the voice of the Lord. Love the Lord your God. Serve Him with gladness. Never complaining. He will bless your life and those who live with you. For we are not here to please ourselves but to please Him who called us with a holy calling. Just raise your voice to God in praise and adoration. He is the One who call us to come to Him and be a light that shines to the whole world.
When the Disciples asked Jesus what would be the signs of His coming and the end of the age, one of the predominate signs was “wars and rumors of wars”. Mark 13:7 tells us Jesus’ response: “When you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” And again in Matthew 24:6 : “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you are not trouble, for these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” The Lord is telling us of one of the conditions of the world near the end times. He is also telling us that it is not the end but the beginning of the end in Matthew 24:8: “all these things are the beginning of the birth pangs.” Most importantly the lord tells...
"All shall be witness, for of sinister motives, the multitudes shall be deceived in splendor. Shame there is none, for the god of earth is cunning and powerful. For has it not been told of the 'elite' shall be the adversary of God, performing great events far and wide. Subtle are the ways, for they baffle even the wise ones...near shall be the coming of the coming when these things have played out. Even messengers of God shall be ignored with contempt." 'Praise God'....
Matthew 10:27 "What I tell you in darkness you must speak in the daylight, and what is whispered in your ear you must shout from the housetops. Get you a language The devil has a plan, BUT GOD’s plan trumps it. Luke 21 19 “When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away." . . . for God, not only blocks it, He causes evil to RECOIL on the enemy. Therefore, as did David; Get on your face! Get on your face! Get on your face before the LORD! Thank Him in advance for the Holy Ghost, who helps you when you’re dealing with the enemy. THE HOLY GHOST!!! We testify, that no weapon that is formed against...
Call unto Me.. says the Lord. Yes Jesus we are calling unto You for help cometh from heaven. Help those in the middle of the flood. Build their homes and bless them. O the glory of Gods holy presence. He hear us all from heaven above. We Thy people are crying to You today. Arise from Your rest and restore our faith in You. In Jesus name. Amen
Q: Why free will? Wouldn't it be easier if God simply told us what to do? That way there would be no pain, suffering, mistakes, or wrong-doing. A: God wants us to choose to love and serve Him of our own free will, not because we have to. Real, genuine love can only be given freely, otherwise it is not true love. Let me give you an example. If a robot says to you, "I love you" Is that real love? No, the robot has no choice in the matter, it simply does as it is programmed. A robot cannot experience or give love. If a person tells you, "I love you" they are doing it of their own free will. They love you, and want to let you know that they love you. Free will can be both a blessing and a curse. God has given us the...
