ART OF THE CON In light of recent, frivolous events, I am reminded of a book I read, a while back, where a very high ranking, foreign military officer, involved in espionage, treason and other war crimes, who was on the verge of being discovered and prosecuted, decided to hatch a plot faking his own insanity, in order to gain leniency in the event of court martial. The plot failed and the military leader was placed in front of a firing squad. While that fictitious novel made for a very intriguing read, I can only pray that this country doesn’t fall victim to such treacherous foolishness, being that real lives are at stake. It is an amazing design for all of us to hear a heavenly song coming down from the glorious presence of God. It is Him who created a perfect sound for us to hear. A pipe organ that comes dwon from the holy presence of God Himself. Look upon the keyboard. Glory to the Lamb who was slain for all of us. Then I thought, how could anyone play this instrument of praise to Jesus our Lord? Unto You o Lord we lift our voice in praise. You alone deserve all the glory, all the honor and all the praise that comes from the heart of a thankful heart. You o Lord saved us cleansed us, purify our hearts. Glory to the Lamb who was slain for us. He alone is worthy of all praise now and forever more. Amen and amen.

I want to see if something corresponds with some statements in the Bible.Like, I heard in my parents generation ,people were more courteous, and more respectful of others, and friendlierThe last several years, I noticed (have been on the receiving end of it,myself}people these days are very RUDE.I don't mean so much with words, but actions. Like, I like to be courteous,and its a natural reaction to look up at a neighbor to see if it's someone I know,or even nod my head or say hello. When I do, {or even if I just glance around out of curiosity and spot them},they turn their head the other way,or even make a face ,or tweak down their nose at you!!{unless they need you for something,or if you had a "fender bender" with them,and they feign...

When I think about God’s omniscience and omnipotence, I am grateful for the variety that He has bestowed upon the earth. No two creations are exactly the same. Whether it be animal, vegitable, mineral, or human; all are individual and therefore, different. Yet, collectively is there true strength and beauty. I love flowers, and I definitely have my favorites, one of which is the sunflower. The sunflower grows in the most obscure places, standing tall and majestic in the midst of weeds. The sunflower is, unapologetically, bright, bold, and glorious; and while it’s very appearance is reminiscent of the sun, it is not the sun, still it has its purpose. For me, there is nothing more breathtaking than a field of sunflowers...

My Jesus I love Thee. You have been so good to all of us. Saving us, cleansing us, purifying our hearts. We love You so much. You are the sweetest name we know. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen
