My heart hurts when I see the prayers of the faithful to God, not answered. The ones we love whose needs are great. Or, has He answered them? I have been moved, by my own questions, as to what and how we should go before God with our petitions, our needs and wants, in prayer. There is so much scripture on God answering all of our prayers. But we seem to pick just the scriptures that seem to tell us what we want to hear and just stop there and not search to what else He is saying about answering these prayers. Times of barreness comes around. Lack prayer, loss of desire to read Gods word, feeling tired all the time, too much trouble to continue. Call on the Lord who is worthy to save us. We are the righteousness of God in Christ! No weapon formed against us shall prosper in Jesus! All things work for our good in Christ! I was on a road trip the other day driving through blizzard conditions. I was confident that Jesus was blessing my journey. Icy roads, no problem for the child of God trusting in Jesus to get me where I need to go and back. I've said this before,but when the world tries to push something on it's followers, it doesn't work small time,It really crams it down your throat from every angle. Now, this yoga trend. It's "in" to go to yoga classes,"meditate"to calm down,etc. We always hear of a busy housewife saying she does yoga stretches and meditates to have an "outlet".So some Christians ask, "well, is it alright if we just do the exercises,not the worship?"Taking a look at it,even the excercises are meant to go into postions that open certain spiritual sources to the wrong type of spirituality.I say we shouldn't get involved in it, because some of it can be connected in ways we don't even realize, given its originsWhy create an opening?
