You know that you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so that you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything' (James 1:2-4 CEV). Trouble isn't usually something we're glad to have. We try and avoid it, or pray for it to end quickly. When life brings us to a low, we can become low and get tired waiting for the trouble to pass. Maybe we want that success for ourselves, or maybe we feel they're not deserving of the success. But that's not how God expects us to react. The Bible tells us to, 'rejoice with those who rejoice' (Romans 12:15 NIV). We need to be celebrating people's success, not resenting them because of it. And that includes celebrating the successes of those who've hurt us or the people we really don't get on with. That can be pretty challenging. The world has some offbeat ways of looking at the dead.One, it seems anyone who dies is automatically proclaimed to be a wonderful person.People who were victimized by a persons misdeeds in life, all of a sudden give a glowing speech about what a wonderful person the deceased was.But lets look at that. When Charles Manson died, were we supposed to say he was a kind hearted, wonderful person? And Hitler? Those who seek the Lord in the morning, at midday and at night. Those are the ones who are born again of the Spirit. Those who fast and pray daily for salvation of their relatives and friends. Those who share Jesus with their nextdoor neighbors. Jesus loves all of them.

One dumb thing the world says a lot, is I hear someone come out and admit they have an action or lifestyle the Bible called SIN, in no uncertain terms, but because these are "modern times", according to them, we've "evolved" in our thinking and therefore what was sin "back then",is now alright.Like how many times have I heard of a celebrity admitting they had same sex sexual relations with someone,and when the question was raised,their "fans"and followers say,"It "doesn't matter" at all if they are gay, and the rest__It's 2018 now,we're more "advanced", this is what we do.Translation_now we're more "sophisticated",we see "nothing wrong" with it now.But does sin become not sin because time has passed?Uh, I don't think so!!God doesn't...
