Jesus said,"you have become judges rendering wicked decisions." And," If a rich man comes in to the congregation, you say, "have a seat up in the front row', but if a poor man comes in , you say, "sit over there."That being said, some examples of bias I can think of, see if it's considered a sin.Bias is similar to favoritism, because the person sides with the one they're more emotionally attached to than who's actually right. I've been on the receiving end of this before.Like, the first person does something that's "not right" to the other, but when hearing it from both, they "cover for" the wrongdoer because they're "friendlier" with them,etc.{To them, it's not about right or wrong, it's about "covering for" who they like better.}But...
Young people today are using all kinds of texting codes to share with their friends. Students in schools are using to share experiences. Ok...we know it's "Christ like" to help others.I also see that sometimes when I say there are times that are bad for me to do that, I might get "critical" replies.But there are certain circumstances....like, remember,in Jesus day, that WAS their job. They probably got fed,so didn't need to shop,didn't have cars that needed to be serviced,their wives would cook for them,and there were certain errands that we have now that they didn't have back then, so our time is more "filled in".I don't think life was as "fast paced" as now.Also, family lived closeby then,so they wasn't usually a case where family would come in from out of town, and you promised to spend time with them.So what I'm saying,does God when commanding us to help others, take...
