The Bible says, "Thou shall not kill." Also, God is the one who determines our days, right? Well, I don't have a problem believing that, but I see an increasing number of unsaved people who have made a decision, to, put simply, kill their loved one when THEY decide it's time. More and more I see, the loved one is in dire physical straits, and starting with the doctor "encouraging" the family to disconnect life support and put the patient in hospice, then most of the family, like a bunch of puppets, have this belief that death is a "blessing" in that case. Of course, the patient, being influenced by this world's way of thinking, has stated in the past that he/she "wouldn't want to" live when in that condition. They "chose" to be dead to "escape" their fate. They all heartily agree that death is the solution to the problem. But spiritually speaking, is it really?

Well, while all concerned, including the sick person, unanimously agree that the person should die, here's the other side of it—what if the sick person is unsaved, and with more witnessing would have become saved, but by rushing their death prevent it? Also, if they know by disconnecting life support the person will die (or if by God's grace they don't), isn't that, like they have intent to kill, and by giving the doctor permission to "put them down," isn't that, like, the spirit of murder? And the Bible says, "Thou shall not kill." My view is that it's God's place to "decide" who dies when, not the family, and the doctor trying to talk them into it. How about you?

Yes, mercy killing is murder and those who do this will end up in hell burning forever because they did not obey one of the Ten Commandments. Thou shall not kill. O God, please, save the souls of those who abort babies and those who kill for no reason at all.

The killing of a patient suffering from an incurable desease is a sin. We must fast and pray for those who perform this act and those who ask for it. Jesus can heal us from any desease. He healed ten lepers and opened the eyes of the blind. He can do great things for us if we just believe and trust His word.

"Thou shalt not kill" (Ex 20:13).

"There is no need of proving, that when good is ordered, the evil which is opposed to it is forbidden. This every one admits. It will also be admitted, without much difficulty, that when evil is forbidden, its opposite is enjoined. Indeed, it is a common saying, that censure of vice is commendation of virtue. We, however, demand somewhat more than is commonly understood by these expressions. When the particular virtue opposed to a particular vice is spoken of, all that is usually meant is abstinence from that vice. We maintain that it goes farther, and means opposite duties and positive acts. Hence the commandment, 'Thou shalt not kill,' the generality of men will merely consider as an injunction to abstain from all injury and all wish to inflict injury. I hold that it moreover means, that we are to aid our neighbor's life by every means in our power. And not to assert without giving my reasons I prove it thus: God forbids us to injure or hurt a brother, because he would have his life to be dear and precious to us; and, therefore, when he so forbids, he, at the same time, demands all the offices of charity which can contribute to his preservation."

I'd have a tough time explaining to God that I stopped a beating heart in someone created in the image of God because I thought it was best for the person, as when God sees the heart, the person is either exempting themselves from the final trial of suffering, and more often than not, the children either don't want the suffering for the same reason, or don't want the hospital bill or a lot of times, sadly to say, just want the inheritance more quickly.

"For the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil" (1 Tim 6:10).

For whatever motive, "Not only does abortion stop a beating heart, but so does euthanasia." ~ anonymous
