I've heard about many others having this problem,and lately I experienced it a few times too. People who, ask for money from you, a presumed "loan", swear by everything they'll pay you back by a certain agreed upon time, then when the time comes, usually don't,or if you remind them, might give you a part payment, then borrow more alittle later, an amount that overrides the part payment.There seems to be an epidemic of this going around,like some worldly trend or something.It's like, everyone thinks it's "cool" to borrow, but when it's time to pay all of a sudden they're hard to find.Is this a sin? I would say on a few fronts. First , dishonesty.They shouldn't make an agreement with someone if they have no intention of keeping it...
