Some people think we should worship Mary because they think she above God because she is the mother. But Mary never ever asked to be worshipped or adored nor asked to be an intercessor for lost souls to enter heaven. Only Jesus intercedes for us before the Father. God's word is true. God is Spirit and those who worship God will worship in spirit and in truth. Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests. Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments. Help our priest to be strong in their vocation. Set their souls on fire with the love for your people. Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Inspire them with the vision of your kingdom. Help them with the words they need to spread the gospel. Allow them to experience joy in their ministry. Show them to become instruments of your divine grace. We were created in the image of God. We were sent here to earth to praise, honor and glorify the Lord. We are the temple of God and we must live a life that pleases to Him. But so many lost their way and now they are roaming the world with an empty soul and no one comes out to help those poor lost souls who need Jesus right now. Fill my cup, I lift it up. Good Morning People of God! For the past few weeks I have been receiving subtle whisperings. I must admit that I'm suspended between a place euphoria and perplexity. We know that God often works in strange and mysterious ways. It has been the case that whenever I have heard the whisperings of The Holy Spirit regarding a shift in direction or change of venue; a sports team is somehow revealed as a sign of confirmation. I didn't understand this at first, until it dawned on me this morning, that while I am a sports fan I'm not what you would describe as "avid." Have you ever driven on 'mountainous switchback' with crazy hairpin turns roadways? Emphasis on mountainous. Well I have not. I am inexperienced in those type of driving courses. Hairpin turns is a bend in a road with a very tight turn, making it necessary for drivers to negotiate a hard turn of about 180° to continue onward. As the name suggests, it resembles the shape of a hairpin. Switchbacks are zigzag roads, for climbing (or descending) a steep hill or mountain. It also incorporates hairpin turns at each level. In many secluded areas these switchbacks are challenging if not treacherous.
