To: The Cities That Have Ears To Hear Especially those who showed up to help restore my hometown in the aftermath of hurricane Harvey. Though I was not living here, at the time: Thank you for the love that you displayed in not rolling against her or turning your back on her in her time of distress. Now, because it is written: 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. I want to delve into the subject of love, particularly as it relates to the prophetic calling. 1 Corinthians 13 (NLT) ¹If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love...

```markdown New Testament Prophecies People often confuse "Last Days" with "End Times." They are not the same. While we are living in the last days, many things, as detailed in the book of Revelations, must take place prior to the end times. Howbeit, because of seducing spirits, brazen "Last Days" behaviors are occurring today, even in my own hometown. The saddest of which is blatant disrespect for the power of the Holy Spirit. People are literally treating Him as something to be controlled to satisfy their own desires: that is idolatry. The Holy Spirit is not a tool to be used, He is an indwelling who transforms. 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving...
To: The Cities That Have Ears To Hear GLORIOUS SABBATH DAY PEOPLE OF GOD Are Jesus's disciples commanded to make disciples? Absolutely. That's the whole premise of the "Great Commission." Howbeit, in order to properly function in the role of disciple, one must be taught to do so according to Jesus's stipulations. If indeed you are Christ's disciple, not only are you commanded make disciples, you are likewise commanded to "give freely of your gift;" whatever that gift and calling may be. Spiritual gifts require the following: Matthew 10 (NIV) ⁸Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. Notice that we are to drive out demons. Nowhere are disciples instructed...
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
Matthew 4:4: But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” God I know Your Word is living and powerful. Please kindle and rekindle a deep passion within me to seek You through Scripture. Open my eyes, heart, and ears to see and hear the beauty, truth, and life in every page of the Bible. Stir up my spirit with a fresh hunger and thirst to know You better and to treasure Your Word above all else. Lord, forgive me for the times I’ve treated Your Word casually or out of routine. Help me approach Your Word with awe and expectation, knowing that each time I open my Bible, You are ready to speak to me. Let my heart burn with joy and wonder as I encounter...
Glorious Sabbath Evening People of God: Indeed, when times are good, there is much to be excited about. Some people get excited when they hear their favorite song. Some people get excited when their favorite team wins. Some people get excited when a certain person shows up. Some people get excited when that deposit hits. But, whether in good times or bad, because God is faithful, His Word should excite believers. For instance, I get spiritually excited when I read, hear, or quote my favorite scripture: Favorite scripture: 1 Corinthians 2 (KJV) ⁹But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. And even more so, because I...
🙏 Please pray for those affected by a 6.9 Earthquake hit this morning in The Philippines, very shallow depth, at least 69 people dead, more injured, still excavating, need electric and mercy. We ask the God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:3, comfort the afflicted, help with the search and rescue efforts, and allow the gospel to gain traction in the hearts, lives and witness of believers. Soften hearts, grant repentance, guard everyone from temptation, Matt 6:13 and the evil one, John 17:15. Let faith come from hearing the Word of God, Rom 10:17, thank you in Jesus' Name.
```markdown To: Cities That Have Ears To Hear In a city's time of testing: When one is on assignment from God, His instruction is not based on the lyrics of a song to “get back up again;” nor is it to “fight back” that’s man’s carnal nature, which is indeed warranted in some cases. But God, foreknowing that no one readily comes our rescue, sets forth this primary rule of engagement for those whom He calls to assignment: “Endure.” Ezekiel 3 ⁸But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are. The servant's endurance is part of what seals God’s verdict against a city. The irony is that, to the natural eye, the servant's “unwavering commitment” often looks like weakness, victim mentality, or even pride, because man judges based...
To: The Cities That Have Ears To Hear Continuing in the "It's Already Done" theme. Romans 11 (NLT) ³²For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so He could have mercy on everyone. ³³Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways! ³⁴For who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give Him advice? ³⁵And who has given Him so much that He needs to pay it back? ³⁶For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen. So, God holds us captive in our own disobedience? That's just strange. It doesn't sound very gracious at all. Exactly! Good grief, Romans Ch. 9, and now this; Whew...
As I have said many times before, God knows the whole story. When goods and services are used as leverage, whether withheld or begrudgedly given, God knows the motives of the heart. Still, it pains me to bear witness to the depths to which some people are willing to sink to satisfy their own selfish desires. Nevertheless, when resources, particularly food, is withheld from me, while I may not always testify about it, I use the situation as an opportunity to "fast and pray;" which never works out well for the purposes of the withholder. When claims are submitted to a just God on a platform of injustice, defeat is the foregone conclusion. It's not that I don't know where the resources are or how to access them; it's the way I'm treated...
