I sometimes like to research random questions just to see how scripturally accurate the internet answer is. Start internet research Question: Is it ok to siphon power from God's anointed? In a spiritual and biblical context, it is not acceptable to "siphon" power from another person, even if they are described as "God's anointed". The concept of "siphoning power" in this way often implies manipulation, control, or an ungodly attempt to take something that is divinely given, which is discouraged in Christian teachings. Key points regarding this topic include: Divine Warning: The Bible contains a strong warning in Psalm Ch105 v15 and 1 Chronicles Ch16 v22 that says, "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm". This is...

In testing the world, Jesus first emptied himself in order to dwell among humanity. Symbolically, He empties his disciples. He sends us into the cities without any possessions. But, it is important to understand that Jesus never intended for his disciples to lack or to be homeless–quite the contrary. His first directive is that we find a household to stay while we carry out our assignments. It is the city's responsibility to provide the hospitality. Condemnation is set against a city when the messenger is cast out. Even greater condemnation is brought upon a city when her overwhelming response is shun and contempt. But, to taunt God's servant in their lowly state renders God's wrath in the current age. ⁹“Don’t take any money in your...
Enoch Walked With God
Genesis 5:24: And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me to walk with You the way Enoch walked with you. Show me what that looks like, and "let it be so" in my life. Let me find my worth in You God and see my worth in Your eyes. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, my family and friends. God, Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, prayer, and works unto the Lord. https://be-an-encourager.blogspot.com/2026/03/and-enoch-walked-with-god.html When You Think Of Me, Please Pray For Me, Encourager Linda Flagg, M.A., B.S., BCPCLC Board Certified Professional Christian Life Coach www.theencourager.net /...
¹¹Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. ¹²Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. ¹³This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. (Ephesians Ch.4 v.11-13, NLT) Having already been justified by my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, my prophetic calling has been confirmed by my hometown. Every turned back, every insult, every assault fulfills Jesus' prophecy regarding his prophets. And they were offended by Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is...
This message is specifically for my hometown, but can relate to any city with a like spirit. Testing is not about a ball-game. It's about buildings (the works of man's hands). Turn you back on your false counsel, before it's too late, daughter (###-Town). Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation Ch.12 v.10 (NIV) Instead of upholding God's directive to wait patiently, they've not only counseled you to attack and dishonor an elder servant of the LORD, and to roll against your sister cities; but, in accusing...
You don't have to build a physical calf to be idolatrous. Greed, being a form of idolatry, is a "golden calf." Greed is first conceived in man's spirit, then manifested through his behavior. The children of Israel first gave thought to the idea of erecting the golden calf before they, being of one accord (i.e. same mindset), contributed to its' physical being. THEY DEVOTED CONSIDERABLE TIME AND EFFORT. They were even willing to donate their riches of silver and gold, to the manufacturing of their preconceived graven image. But, they were unwilling to submit to God's will. Mind you, the promise was right in front of them, but held captive in idolatry, they couldn't see it. They grew impatient while awaiting God's perfect timing...
