¹¹Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. ¹²Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. ¹³This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. (Ephesians Ch.4 v.11-13, NLT) Having already been justified by my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, my prophetic calling has been confirmed by my hometown. Every turned back, every insult, every assault fulfills Jesus' prophecy regarding his prophets. And they were offended by Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is...
This message is specifically for my hometown, but can relate to any city with a like spirit. Testing is not about a ball-game. It's about buildings (the works of man's hands). Turn you back on your false counsel, before it's too late, daughter (###-Town). Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. Revelation Ch.12 v.10 (NIV) Instead of upholding God's directive to wait patiently, they've not only counseled you to attack and dishonor an elder servant of the LORD, and to roll against your sister cities; but, in accusing...
You don't have to build a physical calf to be idolatrous. Greed, being a form of idolatry, is a "golden calf." Greed is first conceived in man's spirit, then manifested through his behavior. The children of Israel first gave thought to the idea of erecting the golden calf before they, being of one accord (i.e. same mindset), contributed to its' physical being. THEY DEVOTED CONSIDERABLE TIME AND EFFORT. They were even willing to donate their riches of silver and gold, to the manufacturing of their preconceived graven image. But, they were unwilling to submit to God's will. Mind you, the promise was right in front of them, but held captive in idolatry, they couldn't see it. They grew impatient while awaiting God's perfect timing...
Why does the Bible even make mention of such a seemingly random thing. Micah 2:9 (NLT) You have evicted women from their pleasant homes and forever stripped their children of all that God would give them. God knows where a city stumbles in a certain season. He likewise knows what His responsive plan is in that season, and He confers it to His messengers. Nothing is coincidental. The Word of God is immutable: All of it.
God has entrusted me with much to share. However, while reminding me of this reality, the Holy Spirit has also provided me with an additional scriptural affirmation. False prophets position themselves in opposition to God's messengers and message. Turning away from an elder woman of God who needs help directly contradicts what the Word of God teaches. Again, who is the Word of God? Thus, opposing Christ means embracing an anti-Christ mentality. God did not send those who counsel in such a manner. It is no coincidence that your blind guides influence you to seek worldly possessions, even at the expense of God's messenger, during this time of prophetic warning. This scenario is consistent with what God indicated would occur within the...
God put it on my heart to take a bit of a detour this morning. A prolonged debate has been ongoing, particularly intensifying in recent years, regarding the necessity of tithing in the present era. Many argue that tithing is merely an Old Testament command to comply with the law, even asserting that, since Jesus fulfilled the law, tithing is no longer required. However, I prioritize this particular line of reasoning – "If Jesus said it; it is true." This is what Jesus said concerning tithing in the New Testament texts of Matthew and Luke: “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects...
