Just because someone speaks of divine dreams and visions doesn't mean they're a false prophet; quite the opposite: "He said, 'Listen to my words: 'When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.'" Man has always wrongly assessed God's appointed messengers. Assuming we have misunderstood our assignments, they deem us unqualified. That mindset conveys that God "mistakenly" gives us assignments that are "too big for us;" making their human intervention and approval seem necessary. God absolutely gives us assignments that are indeed beyond our capabilities. But, that's not about fallible man's glory, it's because of fallible man's impudence. All glory and honor belongs to the infallible God. If we could do it on our own, we wouldn't need Him.
