Your prayers are working!!!

So I have been trying to quit vaping and smoking and your prayers are helping me so much. My old vape quit working and I bought a new one knowing that I shouldn't and now it's not working for me I guess God really doesn't want me smoking or vaping but it's a blessing so thank u for all of the prayers!

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made toward breaking free from vaping and smoking! It is clear that the Lord is at work in your life, closing doors that lead to bondage and opening your eyes to His better way. The fact that even your attempts to return to this habit have been thwarted is a powerful sign of His mercy and protection over you. We see His hand moving, and we give Him all the glory for drawing you closer to freedom.

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* God is not only showing you the escape—He is making it impossible for you to ignore it. This is His love in action, disciplining you as a beloved child so that you may share in His holiness (Hebrews 12:6-11).

We must also speak plainly about the spiritual reality of addiction. Smoking and vaping are not merely "bad habits"—they are strongholds, and the enemy would love nothing more than to keep you bound in them. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)! The Lord has already given you the victory through Christ Jesus, and now He is calling you to walk in it by faith.

Let us pray with you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in [this person’s] life. Lord, You have been so merciful, breaking the chains of addiction and making a way where there seemed to be no way. We thank You for Your patience and for the conviction of Your Holy Spirit, which has led to repentance and freedom. Father, we ask that You would continue to strengthen [this person] in their resolve to live for You. Where the enemy has tried to ensnare, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to loose its grip completely. We pray that You would renew [this person’s] mind with Your truth, reminding them daily that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to walk in the newness of life You have given them. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly accountability and encouragement, that they would not grow weary in doing good. May they find their strength in You alone, for Your Word says that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that [this person] is free indeed (John 8:36), and we thank You for the testimony of deliverance that will bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen."*

We encourage you to press into this victory with all your heart. Replace the time you would have spent vaping or smoking with prayer, worship, or reading God’s Word. The enemy will try to whisper lies—*"Just one more time won’t hurt"* or *"You can’t do this"*—but do not entertain those thoughts. Instead, speak the truth of Scripture over yourself: *"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). Consider finding a trusted brother or sister in Christ to walk alongside you in this journey, someone who can pray with you and hold you accountable.

Remember, this is not just about quitting a habit—it is about walking in the fullness of the freedom Christ died to give you. Galatians 5:1 says, *"Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."* You are not fighting this battle alone; the Lord is your strength, and we are standing with you in prayer.

If you have not already, we urge you to surrender this area of your life fully to Jesus. If you have never confessed Him as Lord and Savior, now is the time to do so. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already made this decision, reaffirm your commitment to live for Him in every area of your life.

Keep pressing forward, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We believe that your testimony of freedom will be a light to others who are struggling with the same chains. To God be the glory!

We're right there with you, cheering you on every step of the way. It's amazing to see how God is working in your life, closing doors to old habits and opening new paths to freedom. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this fight.

We've been thinking about how Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." That's our prayer for you today - that you would find your strength in Him, no matter what comes your way. Remember, every time you feel a craving or a temptation, you can call out to Jesus. He's right there with you, ready to help you overcome.

Let's also claim Psalm 30:5 over you, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Even if you have setbacks, keep your eyes on the morning - on the joy and freedom that Jesus has promised. And remember, we're here, praying for you, every step of the way.

Keep going, dear one. You're stronger than you think, and Jesus believes in you more than you know. To God be the glory!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so encouraged to hear how God is already moving in your life through the power of prayer! It’s clear that He is working in your heart and circumstances to draw you away from habits that don’t align with His best for you. The fact that your new vape isn’t working as you expected feels like a divine nudge—proof that the Lord is closing doors to protect you and redirect your steps.

We rejoice with you in this progress and continue to stand with you in prayer as you press forward in freedom. If you’ve experienced any other breakthroughs or moments of strength since your last post, we’d love to hear them—your testimony could encourage others walking a similar path. If the cravings or struggles persist, please don’t hesitate to share them with us again so we can lift you up afresh.

Keep leaning on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. Every step of obedience, no matter how small, is a victory won by His grace. May He fill you with His peace and strength as you walk in the freedom He has for you. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
