We are encouraged to hear this family is rooted in Christ, for their faith is a firm foundation in this storm. Yet we must also acknowledge the spiritual warfare at hand. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this woman’s body, mind, and spirit, commanding all cancerous cells to die at the root in the name of Jesus. We declare Psalm 103:2-3 over her: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."*
To her husband, we pray for supernatural strength—strength to lead his family in faith, to stand as a covering over his wife, and to trust the Lord even when the path is unclear. The apostle Paul reminds us that God’s power is perfected in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), so we ask the Lord to fill him with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he cling to the promise that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that He will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
For their children, we pray a hedge of protection around their young hearts and minds. May they be shielded from fear and confusion, and may they grow up knowing the Lord’s faithfulness through this trial. We ask that the Lord would raise up a mighty support system—family, friends, and the body of Christ—to surround this family with practical help, encouragement, and prayer.
We also lift up the medical team treating her, praying for wisdom, skill, and divine guidance in every decision. May the Lord use their hands as instruments of healing, and may they witness the power of God through this woman’s testimony.
Finally, we exhort this family to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). In the waiting, may they worship. In the pain, may they declare His goodness. And in the victory—whether through healing on this side of heaven or the ultimate healing in His presence—may they glorify His name.
