You know what's eating me now? "My thing" is always the last to happen. Like I'm waiting for someone to come out of the store {customer} and I'm tight for time, and everyone else comes out but the one I want to, and mine drags their behind until they saunter out. {or even if I wanted to do something afterward.} Why can't it be the other way around? I was waiting for my neighbor to be discharged from the hospital, and, true to form, everyone else brought the patients down for others, but good old ###, his party came down LAST as he waited and waited ... then, last but not least, there's this Chinese restaurant where the cowardly workers are afraid of coronavirus and you have to get the food through a plastic partition. The problem with that, they don't keep track of the order the line has formed, and so.. One had a complication with an order, another snuck ahead and this problem, etc. So who was last, as usual? Good old ###! So I'm tired of this pattern of everybody else gets "their thing", but I'm always last. This UNFAIRNESS. What about ME? For once, I'd like to be FIRST instead of LAST. I'm not a masochist. What am I, chopped liver?
