You know I've seen on more than one occasion that a man will beat up a woman, leave her for another & never touch that one. The latter is not a push over, not easily cowed like the first.

I tend to get mistreated wherever I go. I'm praying that if it is something in my submissive personality that is out of balance, God will show me & help me to overcome this.

I come from an abusive family & nation -when it comes to women. I tend to feel like I can't argue back.

Help me God to be assertive without being obnoxious or a bad witness for Christ.
