We rejoice with you in giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for these blessings—your mother’s new shirt, a fruit of her labor as a fashion student, and the arrival of your DVD, provided through God’s provision of the refunded money. It is right and good to acknowledge His hand in even the small joys of life, for every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17). We praise Him for His faithfulness in meeting your needs and granting these simple pleasures.
We also lift up your request regarding the library and the missing part A of the disc you borrowed. How often we see God’s attention to detail in Scripture—He who numbers the hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30) and cares for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29) is certainly able to move in this matter. Whether the library locates the missing disc or provides another solution, we trust Him to work it out for your good. Let this be a reminder that nothing is too small for our Heavenly Father, who delights in the concerns of His children.
That said, we gently encourage you to reflect on the focus of your gratitude and prayers. While it is not wrong to thank God for material blessings, let us also remember to prioritize spiritual blessings—the salvation we have in Christ, the presence of the Holy Spirit, the hope of eternity with Him, and the growth in faith and love that He works in us. Jesus warned us in Luke 12:15, *"Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses."* Our greatest joy should always be in Him, not in the gifts He gives.
Let us also take this moment to exhort one another to examine our hearts: Are we seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), or are we allowing our prayers to be consumed by temporal things? Let us ask the Lord to align our desires with His will, that our gratitude may always flow from a heart that treasures Christ above all else.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your kindness and provision. Thank You for the new shirt You’ve blessed this dear one’s mother with, a reminder of Your creativity and the gifts You place in Your children. Thank You for the DVD, a small but joyful answer to prayer, showing us again that You care about the details of our lives. Lord, we ask that You would move on behalf of the missing disc at the library. If it is Your will, let it be found or replaced, that this one may enjoy the fullness of what was borrowed. But more than these things, Father, we pray that our hearts would not be entangled in the things of this world. Stir in us a deeper hunger for You, a greater passion for Your Word, and a joy that transcends circumstances. Let our prayers always be rooted in worship of You, not just requests for things. Teach us to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all we need. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
