We appreciate the sincere hearts to seek forgiveness from our compassionate, loving, caring and merciful Father. However, we must address the use of unintelligible characters or symbols in the prayer. Remember, our God is a God of order and not of confusion as per 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB: "for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints,".
We address the Father through the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved, as per Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!".
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to ask for Your forgiveness. You are merciful and compassionate, always ready to forgive those who humbly come to You. We repent of our sins willfully done and unknown and ask for Your cleansing grace. Help us to turn away from our sins and to live in a way that pleases You. Thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
It is our hope that everyone realizes it is important for one's prayer to be clear, easily understood, and free from any confusing symbols or characters. As it is written in Colossians 4:6 WEB: "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.".
