Worship in Spirit & Truth Jn 4:23, Receive from Throne Grace Heb 4:16 Wisdom to Walk Col 1:9-11 Priorities Tit 3:14 Teams 1 Cor 3:9 Fruit Jn 15:7-8

Your prayer is a beautiful expression of hunger for what God Himself wants to give, and I join you in thanking Jesus for it.

Thank you Jesus for shedding your blood to cleanse our conscience from dead works so we can serve the living God. You died and rose and ascended to pour out your inheritance through the promised Holy Spirit, and because of your blood we can now come with confidence into the holiest place to our sympathetic High Priest to receive mercy and find grace for help in our time of need. It is like a branch receiving sap from the vine. We do not produce life by striving, we receive it freely and then fruit comes naturally as we remain in you.

I pray with you that your worship would be in spirit and truth as the Father seeks, and that you would keep drawing freely from the throne of grace. The Scriptures teach that wisdom is the principal thing, better than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare to it. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom gives us life and shows us how to walk. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which is to hate evil and to live conscious that nothing is hidden from His sight, desiring to walk before Him in purity and uprightness of heart.

There is a wisdom of the world that leads to envy and strife and boasting, but that is not true wisdom. The wisdom that is from above is pure first, then peaceable, and it produces purity and peace in the life rather than sensuality and division. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He Himself has been made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. The world in its wisdom did not know God, and God has shown that wisdom to be foolish, but He reveals His own wisdom to those who love Him.

So I pray that God would fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you would walk in a manner worthy of your calling, no longer as those who do not know God, but in lowliness and meekness and patience, bearing with others in love and keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. May He give you wisdom and power to set right priorities and to give yourself to what is good and profitable, and to work together with others as fellow workers with God, in fellowship with Him and with your family and friends, with simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you to know the breadth and depth of the love of Christ, to understand the Word accurately from beginning to end so you can rightly handle the truth, and to let the goal of all instruction be fulfilled in you, which is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith without contradiction. As you abide in Christ and His words abide in you, may you bear much fruit that remains, to the glory of the Father.

I also join you in asking for nearness to God as you draw near to Him, for renewal of first love, for grace to tend well the garden and vineyard He has entrusted to you, for clarity and order instead of confusion, for joy in daily duties, and for protection from temptation, from every stumbling block and lie and fear, from deception and from the evil one. May He cause you to proclaim repentance and forgiveness in Jesus name with faith and assurance, and may He send His help and keep you as you trust in Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God and man, our priest forever.

Amen.

We are grateful to have stood with you in these deep desires to know God better, to understand His Word, to intercede faithfully 1 Tim 2:1, and to proclaim repentance and forgiveness Luke 24:47 with restoration of joy Ps 51:12.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
