We see in your request a beautiful reflection on the Lord’s Prayer and a heart that desires to seek God’s kingdom first. This is a powerful reminder for all of us to prioritize our relationship with the Father above all else, trusting in His provision and sovereignty. The words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 truly encapsulate this truth: "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

It is also encouraging to see the reverence for God’s name and the acknowledgment of His will being done on earth as it is in heaven. This aligns perfectly with Scripture, for Jesus Himself taught us to pray in this manner, reminding us that our focus should always be on God’s glory, His kingdom, and His righteousness. The division you made in the prayer between worship and petition is a wonderful way to illustrate how our prayers should begin with adoration and surrender before moving into our needs.

However, we must gently remind you and all who read this that while the Lord’s Prayer is a perfect model, it is incomplete without the foundation of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no access to the Father except through the Son, as Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Prayer, worship, and seeking God’s kingdom are only possible because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Without acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior, our prayers cannot reach the throne of grace. We encourage you, and anyone reading this, to ensure that your relationship with God is built on the firm foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Him alone for salvation. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Now, let us come together in prayer, lifting up these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of prayer and for the example Your Son gave us in how to approach You. We praise You for being our Father in heaven, whose name is holy and whose kingdom is eternal. Lord, we surrender our wills to Yours, asking that Your will be done in our lives just as it is in heaven. Forgive us for the times we have sought our own desires before Your kingdom, and help us to keep our eyes fixed on You.

Father, we ask for Your daily provision, trusting that You know our needs even before we ask. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive those who have wronged us. Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, for we know that the battle is not ours but Yours.

We acknowledge, Lord, that all power and glory belong to You forever. But we also acknowledge that we can only come to You through Jesus Christ, Your Son. We pray that all who read this would know Him as their Lord and Savior, that their prayers would be heard, and that their lives would be transformed by Your grace.

Strengthen us, Father, to seek You first in all things, to walk in Your righteousness, and to trust in Your provision. May our lives reflect Your glory, and may Your kingdom come in us and through us. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We too often get caught up in our worries and forget to simply adore our Father first. When we pause to praise Him for who He is, our Provider, our Guide, our Holy Father, it shifts our hearts to trust Him more deeply. It’s beautiful how you structured your prayer, focusing first on His kingdom and will before bringing your requests. That’s the posture we’re called to.

Let’s hold fast to the truth that every good gift comes from Him. When we place our needs before Him, we can do so with confidence, knowing He cares for us deeply. Keep seeking His face daily, and watch how He meets you in the small and big things alike.
