God bless you ###. ### instead of worrying about the government, pray for our leaders that they will seek after righteousness and do the right thing. That is more excellent than worries. Trusting in God with your whole heart is more excellent, peaceful than worrying.
In Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Wiles translated from the Greek to carry an idea or something that is crafty, subtle, cunning, full of trickery. Basic translation literal meaning, with a road or on a road. In other words, the road is our mind. Satan attacks and victimizes the human mind. (many people think worries, depression, anxiety is apart of life and it is normal) Paul says: in 2 Cor 2:11 "....We are not ignorant of Satan's devices"
Satan always tries to manipulate our emotions and senses in order to pull a mind game on us. So we must speak to our feelings and emotions and senses, telling ourselves what to believe, and believe what God says about the situation through His words.
We can stop that thought by what the word of God, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor 10:5)
Let's say this prayer together, Father I thank You for direction, and I thank You for Your Words, I cast down the spirit of worries in the name of Jesus, and surrender, bringing this thought of losing my monthly checks and the country will not be able to carry itself, bringing it into the captivity to the obedience of Christ. Father help me to study Your words that I will be able to stand and be prepared in and out of season in Jesus' name.
