God bless you Donna. Donna instead of worring about the government, pray for our leaders that they will seek after righteousness and do the right thing. That is more excellent that worries. Trusting in God with your whole heart is more excellent, peacefull than worrying.
In Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Wiles translated from the Greek to carry an idea or something that is crafty subtle, cunning, full of trickery. Basic translation literal meaning, with a road or on a road. In other words the road is our mind. satan attack and victimize the human mind. (many people thinks worries, depression, anxiety is apart of life and it is normal) Paul says: in 2cor 2:11 "....We are not ignorant of satan's devices"
satan always tries,to manipulate our emotions and senses in order to pull a mind game on us. So we must speak to our fealing and emotions and senses telling ourselves what to believe, and believe what God says about the situation through His words.
W We can stop that thought by what the word of God, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ"(2 corn 10:5)
Let's say this prayer together, Father I thank You for direction, and I thank You for your Words, I cast down the spirit of worries in the name of Jesus, and surrender bring this thought of loosing my monthly checks and the country will not be able to carry itself bringing it into the captivity to the obedience of Christ. Father help me to study your words that I will be able to stand and be prepare in and out of season in Jesus name.
