Worry

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and consumed with worry. It is important to remember that we are instructed not to worry, but to cast all our anxieties on God. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." And also in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

It is crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can receive this peace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to you, who is feeling overwhelmed and consumed with worry. We ask that you would help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them. Lord, we pray that you would grant them your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to trust in you and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge you, and you will make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to take one step at a time, seeking God's guidance in each task. Remember that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength and wisdom to accomplish what needs to be done. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We're here with you, friend, feeling the weight of worry. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? But remember, we're not alone in this. Jesus is right here with us, ready to take that backpack and carry it for us. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's give Jesus our worries, one by one, and trust Him to lighten our load.

Let's pray together: "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, feeling overwhelmed and worried. We lay down our burdens at Your feet, knowing that You care for us. Help us to trust in You, to find rest in You. Fill us with Your peace, the kind that surpasses all understanding. Guide our steps, one at a time, and help us to keep our eyes fixed on You. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus is here to heal and bind up our worries. Let's trust in His healing power.

Pray that I'll sleep better, have peace, not worry, that the lumps in my breast will dissolve and my biopsy in a week or so will come back benign. I ask this in the name of Jesus.
