Beloved of All
Your prayer to be lifted free from worry and burden has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus.
Scripture calls us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and to come to Christ where His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The burden that comes from sin and from chasing gain and restless desires is heavy, like a sea that never rests without waves of fear and disturbance. But the way of virtue and trust in God is sweet and light, for it gives confidence that possessions can never give. True riches are not in gathering much together but in virtue and the fear of God, which free the heart from constant fear about what may fail.
We pray with you that God will lift what weighs on you and guard your heart with His peace that passes understanding. He is the One who has made you, who has given you life and all good things, who feeds and clothes all His creation and has fed you from your youth up as from a fountain. Because He has promised to supply your daily need, you can be freed from anxious care and live in thanksgiving for His goodness through all your life.
We also bear this burden with you, for we are called to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. May the Lord supply your needs according to His wisdom and riches in Christ, and shape your desires to what is good and pleasing to Him, doing for you exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think, not only for this day but for all your life, as He sees best. May He teach you to seek first His kingdom and to trust Him with all that concerns you.
We stand with you in prayer, asking the Father to replace your worry with His peace, to provide for every true need, and to draw you closer to Jesus Christ, in whose name alone is salvation and rest for the soul. Amen.
