We join with you in bringing these burdens and worries before the Lord, for we know He cares deeply for you and invites you to lay every anxiety at His feet. We hear your heart crying out for relief and for the Lord to lift what weighs heavy on you, and we stand with you in Jesus' name asking for His peace to guard you.
The Scripture tells us to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7. We are also taught in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself invites us in Matthew 11:28-30 to come to Him, all who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give us rest, to take His yoke upon us and learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble in heart, and we will find rest for our souls, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
We also lift up your needs and desires with you, and we want to encourage you with what the Word says about this. We rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father. God is indeed able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us as we read in Ephesians 3:20, and we praise Him for that power. We also know that He has promised to supply our needs, for Philippians 4:19 says our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
At the same time we gently encourage you to bring your desires into alignment with His will, for not every desire of our heart reflects what is best for us. The Lord shapes our desires as we walk close to Him, as Psalm 37:4 says to delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart. When we delight in Him, our desires become His desires for us, and then we can trust that what He provides, even if different from what we first imagined, is exceedingly abundantly better than we could think or pray for, because His ways and thoughts are higher than ours.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You and we thank You that You hear us. We ask You to lift every burden, every worry, and every anxiety that weighs on this heart, and to replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Teach us to cast all our cares on You daily and to rest in Your gentle yoke. Lord, we ask You to supply every true need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and to align every desire with Your perfect will. Help this one to delight in You and to seek first Your Kingdom, trusting that You know what is best and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think. Fill this heart with trust, hope, and rest in Your faithful love. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
