We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed by your current financial circumstances, and we are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our finances. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
This passage reminds us that God knows our needs and will provide for us as we seek His kingdom and righteousness first.
Regarding your debt, it's important to be proactive and responsible in managing your finances. In Psalm 37:21 WEB, we read:
The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously.
This verse encourages us to be diligent in paying back what we owe. You may need to make some sacrifices, such as canceling your holiday, to prioritize paying off your debt. Remember that God honors our faithful stewardship of the resources He has entrusted to us. It is important to understand that debt should be avoided and only used when absolutely necessary.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come to You with our ###'s concerns about her finances. We ask that You would give her the wisdom and strength to manage her debts responsibly and to make decisions that honor You. Help her to trust in Your provision and to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety and stress, and we ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, only you can provide the jobs and the pay increases required for her to stay out of debt and live stress free. We also pray that as you bless her finances that she would have the wisdom to save up for her future needs as well.
Lord Jesus, only you can save us from our sins. We confess that Jesus is lord and we believe that you raised him from the dead. We believe that you love us and sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. We look forward to the day when we can be with you forever.
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. If this was not included in your original request, it is important to always keep this in mind and repent of this if this was intentional. If it was forgotten, then use this as a reminder going forward. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Finally, as you navigate this challenging time, meditate on Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Prioritize praying with thanksgiving, and God's peace will guard your heart and mind.
