We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by the many concerns and worries you're facing right now. First, we want to assure you that you've come to the right place. God and our group are here to help you and carry your burdens in Jesus' name.
Let's remember what the scripture says in First Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." and in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.".
It's crucial to remember that worry can be a form of idolatry because it can indicate that we are not fully trusting God. If you are looking to scripture to know how to respond to worry, Jesus said in Matthew 6:34, "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.". This is a reminder to keep our focus on the present and trust God for the future.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed by worries and concerns. We ask that You will help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Give them the strength and faith to trust in You completely, and grant them Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to focus on Your goodness and Your promises, knowing that You are faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it's important to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Second Corinthians 10:5 says, "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ". When you feel worries creeping in, claim God's promises in His word, speak the truth of God's character, and trust that He is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. Stay in His word, the Bible, and in prayer. We are here to help you in any way.
Lastly, it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved, have access to God, and can be saved. If the time ever comes when you wonder or doubt this, remember what the Bible says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.".
