Beloved of All
God is good, and will always be. I know He is everywhere, and He is everything. But sometimes, I cannot deny the fact that evilness sometimes win. Althroughout my scrolling on social media and internets, I've discovered how the most powerful and mad richest people would do such horrible things to control not just the people but the events. I can't imagine how their minds are working, that they don't feel any regrets or fear of doing something that's against to Him. I just wanna cry my heart out to those people who suffered just for these people to gain their satisfaction. I pray for their souls, their hearts, and minds. They think that people are just their toys they can control anytime. I know God is still Almighty, compared to anything badness, no matter how big or extraordinary it is. After all, we are all still God's creation. May those people who suffered, and is suffering now, find peace and love through Lord God Almighty, above everything else. Amen!

We hear the burden in your heart and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord, for we too grieve when we see the suffering caused by the greed and cruelty of those who love power more than they love God. Your words honor the truth that God is good and Almighty and everywhere present, and that all people are His creation and accountable to Him. It is painful to watch, especially when scrolling through so much darkness online, and to wonder how those who do evil can feel no regret or fear of the Lord.

We want to encourage you that what you are feeling is not new to God's people. The psalmist Asaph wrestled with the same sorrow when he saw the wicked prosper while the righteous suffered, until he entered God's sanctuary and considered their latter end, Psalm 73:17. The prophet Habakkuk also cried out, Yahweh, how long will I cry, and you will not hear, Habakkuk 1:2. Scripture does not hide this tension, but it assures us that evil only appears to win for a season. We are told, Don't fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb, Psalm 37:1-2. No power, no wealth, no scheme escapes His sight, and His justice will not fail.

We take comfort that the hearts of even the most powerful are not beyond God's sovereign hand, for The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Proverbs 21:1. And we rest in His promise of perfect justice, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. That patience is why He allows time for repentance, even for those who now act as if people are toys to be controlled, but that patience will one day give way to righteous judgment.

We also share your compassion for those who have suffered and are suffering now. God sees every tear and hears every cry, and He has promised a day when He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away, Revelation 21:4. Until then, we are called to pray even for those who do evil, that their souls, hearts, and minds would be convicted and transformed, and to guard our own hearts from despair by fixing our thoughts on what is true and good, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things, Philippians 4:8. It is wise to step back from endless scrolling that feeds anxiety and to dwell more deeply in God's Word where hope is renewed.

We noticed you spoke of the Lord God Almighty, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and peace with Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly in prayer.

We pray together now for you and for all you have lifted up.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We praise You that You are good, that You are everywhere, that You are Almighty above every evil, no matter how large it appears. Lord, we confess our sorrow and at times our confusion when wickedness seems to prevail and the powerful crush the weak without remorse. Forgive us for doubting and strengthen our faith to trust in Your perfect justice and timing. We ask You to have mercy on those who are suffering now, to comfort them, to heal their wounds, to let them find Your peace and love that surpasses all understanding, and to draw them to salvation through Jesus. We also pray for those who use power for evil, that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to their sin, and bring them to repentance before it is too late, for You desire that none should perish. Guard our hearts from bitterness and from being overwhelmed by the darkness of this world, and help us to keep our eyes fixed on Your goodness and Your coming kingdom where righteousness will dwell. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear the weight in what you shared, and we thank you for bringing it honestly before the Lord. It is painful to scroll and see story after story of power being misused, and to sit with the ache for those who have been hurt by it. Your tears for people who are suffering show a tender heart, and your confidence that God is still Almighty above all of it matters.

It makes sense that it can feel like evil is winning when those images keep coming. Stepping back from an endless stream does not mean looking away from suffering, it can help you carry that burden in a healthier way. One thing that has helped others is to set a gentle boundary around scrolling, and to turn that same compassion into focused prayer and one small, faithful action nearby.

We cannot change large systems on our own, but God does call each of us to reflect His heart for those who hurt in the places He has put us. That might look like simply being present with someone who is struggling, listening without trying to fix everything, or supporting a local ministry that tangibly helps those in need. Those quiet, consistent ways of loving our neighbor are part of how God works through His people.

Father, we lift to You all who are suffering under injustice and cruelty, and we ask You to bring them comfort, safety, and the knowledge that they are seen and loved by You. Guard our friend's heart from despair, give rest from the heaviness of what they have seen, and lead them to hopeful ways to love others well. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and it is a right and tender cry before the Lord. To see the powerful of this world use their riches and influence as if men were toys in their hands, and to see the suffering that follows, must pierce any heart that loves righteousness. It is well that you have poured this out before God, for He alone is the refuge of the oppressed.

You have spoken truly that God is good and will always be, and that He is Almighty above all evil, no matter how great or extraordinary it appears. No doctrine in the whole Word of God more quiets the troubled soul than the truth of the absolute Sovereignty of God. Under the most adverse circumstances, in the most severe troubles, we may believe that Sovereignty hath ordained our afflictions, that Sovereignty overrules them, and that Sovereignty will sanctify them all. When we hear of revolutions, and the shaking of empires, when we see the proud exalt themselves, then it is that Jehovah seems to put His foot upon land and sea and cries, Hear ye inhabitants of the earth, I am God and beside me there is none else.

It may seem for a season that evil wins, but it does not win in the end. The Lord reigns, let the people tremble. He giveth songs in the night, and when we are in darkness and suffer disappointment we may still look up and say, the Lord who reigns will be our succor and our stay. The wickedness of men, though it be great, cannot escape His eye nor His judgment, for God requires that which is pure and His holiness is more grand and sublime than we have guessed.

We join you in prayer for those who have suffered and are suffering now. May the Lord be a hiding place for His people, and may those who are bowed down hear His voice speaking through His promises and find peace not in the world but in Jesus Christ alone. For there is no good thing out of Christ, and salvation is found in Him only, by trusting in His blood. The business of faith is to trust in Christ even when we feel our sins and our sorrows most deeply, and to cast ourselves upon Him and rest ourselves upon Him.

We pray also that you may not be overcome of evil, but may overcome evil with good. When we assail evil with evil we are already ourselves overcome, but the mind of Christ is that we render not evil for evil, and that Divine Grace continually gives us the victory. Continue to speak often one to another as they that fear the Lord, to keep your ear near to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul, and to commit both the oppressed and the oppressor to Him who judges righteously.

May the Lord turn aside the hot darts of the enemy, heal the wounded heart, and cause His justice and His mercy to be seen in His perfect time, and may you find your mountain to stand fast forever in Him who reigns.

Your sorrow over the suffering you see is itself a sign that your heart has not grown cold to what is happening in the world. It is right to grieve when you see the powerful act without fear of God and treat other people as if they were toys to be used for their own satisfaction. God also sees this, and He does not overlook it.

Scripture teaches that God is long suffering, and His patience has a purpose, to draw sinners to repentance. That patience is not approval and it is not forgetfulness. When His goodness is abused and people go on without repentance, the judgment becomes more fearful, for if even men do not overlook great wickedness, how much less will God. Vengeance belongs to Him and He will recompense. In this life it can seem that evil wins, but the one who does evil is the one who truly suffers harm, while those who suffer unjustly are not forgotten by God who abides forever. Even if they do not receive justice now, He lives and He will give what is just in His time.

You are right to confess that God is good and Almighty and everywhere present. Nothing evil, no matter how great or extraordinary it seems, is greater than He is. Christ Himself when falsely accused bore all mildly and was silent before those who were unworthy of an answer, teaching us meekness and long suffering. We are called to follow Him by not returning evil for evil and by not holding on to remembrance of wrongs. This does not mean calling evil good. There is a false peace when those who do evil agree together, as even robbers agree together, but that is not the peace of God. The true peace which Christ proclaimed and which the Church prays for again and again is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God, because they imitate the Son of God who came to reconcile heaven and earth.

So continue to pray as you have prayed. Pray that those who are suffering now will find true peace and love through the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other way of salvation and no other true comfort. Pray also that those who do evil will come to see their sin and repent while there is still time, for God desires repentance. And ask God to keep your own heart at peace and free from hatred, so that you may not be overcome by the very anger and sorrow you see around you. He has given each of His people help and guardianship, and He hears the prayers offered for those who have no voice.

May the God of peace guard your heart, comfort all who suffer, bring the works of darkness into the light, and lead both the wounded and those who have wounded them to repentance and life through Jesus Christ. Amen.
