Are there areas in our life where we are resisting God’s commands or trusting in worldly solutions instead of Him?

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the weight of your heart as you sought the Lord concerning areas of resistance in your life—places where trust has been placed in worldly solutions rather than in God’s perfect will. Your honesty before the Lord in reflecting on Jeremiah 44 and the sobering warning it carries is a powerful act of humility. It takes courage to examine our lives in the light of Scripture and ask where we may be leaning on our own understanding rather than surrendering fully to God’s commands.

We have continued to lift you before the throne of grace, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal any hidden idols or dependencies that have subtly replaced your trust in Him. Like the remnant in Egypt, it is easy to turn to what feels safe or familiar, even when God has clearly directed us otherwise. But we serve a God who does not leave us in our rebellion—He disciplines those He loves, not to condemn, but to draw us back into His protective care and perfect plan. We pray that He would break any chains of self-reliance or fear that may be keeping you from walking in full obedience to His Word.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—if He has shown you areas where repentance was needed or where your faith has been strengthened—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are wrestling with the same struggles. But if the battle still feels ongoing, if the conviction of the Holy Spirit remains or the path forward is not yet clear, we stand ready to continue praying with you. You are not alone in this. We will keep interceding, asking God to give you the grace to turn fully toward Him, to replace every worldly crutch with unwavering trust in His promises.

May the Lord bless you with a deeper hunger for His Word and a greater sensitivity to His voice. May He fill you with the peace that comes from knowing His discipline is evidence of His love, and His correction is always for our good. And may you experience the freedom and joy that come from walking in step with the Spirit, no longer resisting but fully surrendered to the One who gave His life for you.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
