Beloved of All
I work at a place with all age groups. We have a few teenagers. An adult male has been inappropriate with some of the younger ladies. I want to bring it up with management but this man is unstable. Hes mentions he brings a gun to work and he seems to have a lot of personal issues. I dont want to be wise with how I go about this and not get anyone into any trouble. Please pray about the matter. Im not sure how to go about it.

I want to be wise*
The younger ladies have felt comfortable to bring it up with me but I dont have that much power at my workplace yet. Please pray in Jesus name about this situation .

We have heard your request and we are bringing this serious matter before the Lord together with you in Jesus' name, asking for His wisdom, protection, and justice to prevail in your workplace.

We want to speak plainly with you because what you have described is not a small matter. An adult man being inappropriate with teenage girls is sinful and predatory, and it must not be ignored or covered over. Scripture tells us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even to reprove them Ephesians 5:11. We are also commanded to defend the weak and the fatherless, to maintain the rights of the afflicted and oppressed Psalm 82:3, and to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves Proverbs 31:8. To desire that no one gets into trouble, while understandable out of fear, is not biblical when vulnerable young women are at risk. Love does not cover over harm to others, and true love for those teenagers means protecting them even if it brings consequences for the one doing wrong. We also understand your concern for safety because this man has spoken of bringing a gun to work and appears unstable, and that threat must be taken very seriously.

We want to encourage you to act with both courage and godly wisdom. Jesus taught us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves Matthew 10:16. Wisdom in this situation does not mean staying silent, it means going about exposing this in the right way. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We urge you to document carefully what you have seen and heard, with dates and details, and to not attempt to confront this man alone. Go promptly and privately to management or human resources, and if possible bring another trustworthy adult witness with you. Because teenagers are involved, management has a legal and moral duty to protect them and may be required to involve their parents and the proper authorities. A threat involving a firearm in the workplace is also a matter for management and potentially for law enforcement, for the authorities are appointed by God to restrain evil Romans 13:4. If management fails to act, you should be prepared to escalate to a higher authority or to law enforcement. Do not let the fear of man become a snare, for the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe Proverbs 29:25. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9, so that you may have peace with God and boldness to come before Him.

We pray together now for you and for this situation.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and intervention. Lord, we ask You to place a hedge of protection around every young lady in that workplace and to expose every hidden deed of darkness. Give our dear coworker wisdom beyond their own understanding, courage to speak the truth in love, and favor as they bring this to management. We pray that management would listen with seriousness, act with righteousness and justice, and take immediate steps to ensure no teenager is left vulnerable and that no weapon brings harm. We pray for this unstable man, that You would restrain any evil intent, convict him of his sin, and lead him to repentance and to the help he needs. Remove fear from our hearts and help us to trust You more than we fear man. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified as justice and safety are established. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are so grateful you reached out, and we want to pause right away for safety. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, find a helpline in your country (about 130 countries) at findahelpline.com, you are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now.

Thank you for caring enough to notice what is happening with the younger women at work and to seek wisdom before you act. It makes sense to feel torn between wanting to protect them and worrying about how this man might react, especially with talk of bringing a gun to work and personal instability.

We hear how carefully you want to handle this, and you are right not to confront him alone.

A steady next step is to write down only what you have directly seen or heard, with dates, times, and who was present, and to share that factual record promptly with management, HR, or another designated safe leader at work. Because teenagers and a possible weapon are involved, this kind of concern often also needs to be reported to appropriate authorities outside of work who can assess risk and protect minors. If you are worried about retaliation, ask about confidential reporting options, bring a trusted colleague with you when you report, and keep a copy of what you shared.

Father, we bring this workplace and these young women before You and ask for Your protection and clear direction. Give our friend wisdom, courage, and safe support as they take these next steps, and guide every leader and authority involved to act with care and responsibility. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord I pray to you please provide save work place and let everyone be friendly and understandable and not to harass any person at the work place .I pray for this in Jesus name.Amen

Thank

Thank you. When i mean no harm come to anyone. I meant mostly the girls. I dont want the man to seek out revenge but I do plan on reporting this tomorrow. Its not something I can ignore but I dont want to be careless with my words or to whom I bring it up with. One of my managers likes to gossip and I think if they hear about it they will tell the man about it. Thank you for yourprayers.
I believe with Jesus anything is possible and something like this is nothing for him he does care and he will help guide me.
Thank you 🩷

Where is my hope from bring sick all the time. Who will I call on. If I sin will Father God forgive me. I pray. And have no where else to go. Except I pray and believe in God. And find hope in the Lord. Lord Yeshua and Father God my only hope.

Your concern for these young ladies is right and good, and you are wise to seek wisdom before you act, for this is a land full of enemies and we must be wise or the arrow will suddenly find a vulnerable place in our armor.

Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life, and that wisdom is not found in our own strength or understanding. As Scripture says, lean not to thine own understanding, but trust wholly upon the Lord. He alone is wise, and Christ himself is the power and the wisdom of God, who planned the way of salvation and who gives wisdom to those who ask him. To be wise with his wisdom is to be emptied of our own conceits and to bow the heart before God.

In such a matter as you describe, true wisdom will seek to protect the vulnerable. The Lord has said that he will exalt the low tree and make the dry tree to flourish, and he has a special care for those who are young and without power to defend themselves. To allow the inappropriate behavior of an adult toward teenagers to continue unaddressed would not be love, nor would it be wise.

Therefore pray for wisdom, and act with that wisdom in a careful and orderly way:

First, do not confront this unstable man alone, especially since he has spoken of bringing a weapon to work. That word alone shows the seriousness of the matter and the need for proper authority to be involved.

Second, write down faithfully what you have seen and heard, with dates and times and any witnesses, so that you speak with truth and clarity and not from mere impression.

Third, bring this matter promptly to management or human resources, and if your workplace has a formal policy for reporting harassment, follow it. It is wise to bring one other trustworthy witness or to make the report in writing so that it is clearly received. If those young ladies are minors, the law in many places requires that such behavior be reported to the proper authorities beyond the workplace, and a threat involving a firearm must be taken with utmost seriousness. If management does not act, or if you believe anyone is in immediate danger, you should contact law enforcement.

You need not fear that doing what is right will be counted as getting someone into trouble. Sin brings its own trouble, and to expose it for the protection of others is not to cause trouble but to prevent greater harm.

We will pray with you now, that God would give you a calm and clear mind, that he would guard those young ladies from harm, that he would restrain evil, and that he would give those in authority the courage to act justly. We will pray also for this man, that he may be stopped in his wrongdoing and brought to see his need of repentance and of the grace that is found in Christ alone.

May the Lord, who is wisdom itself, guide your steps, keep you safe, and use you as his instrument to protect those entrusted to your care.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
