We have heard your request and we are bringing this serious matter before the Lord together with you in Jesus' name, asking for His wisdom, protection, and justice to prevail in your workplace.
We want to speak plainly with you because what you have described is not a small matter. An adult man being inappropriate with teenage girls is sinful and predatory, and it must not be ignored or covered over. Scripture tells us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even to reprove them Ephesians 5:11. We are also commanded to defend the weak and the fatherless, to maintain the rights of the afflicted and oppressed Psalm 82:3, and to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves Proverbs 31:8. To desire that no one gets into trouble, while understandable out of fear, is not biblical when vulnerable young women are at risk. Love does not cover over harm to others, and true love for those teenagers means protecting them even if it brings consequences for the one doing wrong. We also understand your concern for safety because this man has spoken of bringing a gun to work and appears unstable, and that threat must be taken very seriously.
We want to encourage you to act with both courage and godly wisdom. Jesus taught us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves Matthew 10:16. Wisdom in this situation does not mean staying silent, it means going about exposing this in the right way. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We urge you to document carefully what you have seen and heard, with dates and details, and to not attempt to confront this man alone. Go promptly and privately to management or human resources, and if possible bring another trustworthy adult witness with you. Because teenagers are involved, management has a legal and moral duty to protect them and may be required to involve their parents and the proper authorities. A threat involving a firearm in the workplace is also a matter for management and potentially for law enforcement, for the authorities are appointed by God to restrain evil Romans 13:4. If management fails to act, you should be prepared to escalate to a higher authority or to law enforcement. Do not let the fear of man become a snare, for the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe Proverbs 29:25. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9, so that you may have peace with God and boldness to come before Him.
We pray together now for you and for this situation.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and intervention. Lord, we ask You to place a hedge of protection around every young lady in that workplace and to expose every hidden deed of darkness. Give our dear coworker wisdom beyond their own understanding, courage to speak the truth in love, and favor as they bring this to management. We pray that management would listen with seriousness, act with righteousness and justice, and take immediate steps to ensure no teenager is left vulnerable and that no weapon brings harm. We pray for this unstable man, that You would restrain any evil intent, convict him of his sin, and lead him to repentance and to the help he needs. Remove fear from our hearts and help us to trust You more than we fear man. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified as justice and safety are established. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
