Faithful Servant
Please pray for me about work - that myself and my coworkers would make it through all issues and concerns we have about our job. Pray for me to do well on my job and not be burnt out. I don't really get many calls (I work from home) compared to my coworkers but sometimes I still get overwhelmed especially when I work on days where not many of my coworkers are working. Thank you.

We hear your heart and lift you up before the Lord, asking for His strength, wisdom, and peace in your work. The challenges of feeling overwhelmed, even in a quieter work environment, are real, and we know the enemy would love to use isolation and comparison to discourage you. But we stand on God’s promises, declaring that He is your Provider, your Strength, and your Peace.

First, we rebuke the spirit of burnout and overwhelm in Jesus’ name. The Lord did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would find rest in Him, even in the midst of your tasks, remembering that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). When the workload feels heavy, we ask that you would cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for your coworkers, that God would grant them patience, unity, and wisdom as they navigate their own challenges. May there be a spirit of cooperation and encouragement among you, reflecting the love of Christ in your workplace. Let no root of bitterness or comparison take hold, but instead, may you all be strengthened by the Lord and the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).

We address the temptation to compare yourself to others, which can lead to discouragement or even resentment. Scripture reminds us that each of us has our own work to do, and we will each give an account to God for our own labor (Romans 14:12). Your worth is not found in the number of calls you receive but in the faithfulness with which you serve the Lord in your work. Whatever you do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord and not to men (Colossians 3:23).

We pray for your productivity and focus, that the Lord would sharpen your skills and give you clarity in your tasks. May He open doors of opportunity for you to use your gifts and talents in ways that bring Him glory. And when the days feel long or lonely, we ask that He would surround you with His presence, reminding you that He is with you always (Matthew 28:20).

Lastly, we encourage you to bring your work before the Lord daily, surrendering your plans and concerns to Him. Seek His guidance in how to manage your time and energy, and trust that He will equip you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). If there are areas where you need to set boundaries or communicate needs to your supervisors, we pray for courage and wisdom to do so with grace and humility.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their work and their heart to You. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows every detail of their day. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them when they are weak, and remind them that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We pray for unity and harmony among their coworkers, that Your love would bind them together in purpose and mutual respect. Remove any spirit of competition or comparison, and replace it with a spirit of encouragement and support. May their workplace be a place where Your light shines brightly, drawing others to You.

Lord, we ask that You would refresh our brother/sister daily with Your presence. When the workload feels overwhelming, remind them that You are their strength and their shield. Help them to work diligently, not as people-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart (Ephesians 6:6). And when the day is done, grant them rest and renewal, so they may rise again with joy and purpose.

We thank You, Father, for the opportunity to work, for it is a gift from You. May our brother/sister find fulfillment and joy in their labor, knowing that they are serving You. We trust You to provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and we declare that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for letting us share this burden with you. Working from home can be oddly isolating, and when the calls are sparse but the pressure still feels high, it’s easy to wonder if you’re the only one struggling, especially on days when the team is thin. We hear you.

Burnout often creeps in quietly, not from one big crisis but from the steady weight of feeling alone in the workload. It’s wise that you’re paying attention to it now, before it solidifies into something heavier. You’re not weak for feeling overwhelmed; you’re human, and the uneven rhythm of your workday would wear on anyone.

One small, concrete step might be to reach out directly to a trusted coworker this week, not to compare call counts, but just to exchange a quick word of mutual encouragement. Sometimes simply knowing you’re not the only one white-knuckling it can loosen the tension. If the load distribution has been particularly lopsided, having a calm, honest conversation with a supervisor could also be appropriate, not as a complaint but as a way to steward your own well-being and serve your team better long-term.

We’ll also hold onto the fact that you asked prayer not only for yourself but for your coworkers. That kind of care even in the middle of your own stress says something good about the work you’re bringing to that job.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you see this situation clearly, the numbers, the quiet days, the tiredness. Please sustain our friend at work. Give wisdom to navigate the uneven pressures, and carve out moments of genuine peace in the middle of each shift. Guard them from the slow drain of comparison and isolation. Provide the right person to come alongside, and steady their heart so they can finish each day without being emptied. We ask all this in your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our honor to lift you, your coworkers, and your workplace concerns before the Lord, asking Him to guide each of you through every challenge and to grant you strength, wisdom, and peace in your roles.

We prayed specifically for you to thrive in your job, to feel God’s presence in moments of overwhelm, and to experience His grace when the workload feels uneven or isolating. We asked Him to sustain you, especially on those days when fewer coworkers are present, so that you would not grow weary but instead find renewed energy and focus in Him. We also prayed for unity among your team, that any tensions or uncertainties would be replaced with clarity, cooperation, and mutual support.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in any way—whether through a sense of calm, improved workflow, favor with your tasks, or even just a quiet assurance in your heart—we would love to hear about it. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If, however, the weight of these concerns still lingers, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking God to move in your workplace in ways only He can.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him in every aspect of your life. May He remind you that your labor is not in vain and that He is your ultimate Provider and Sustainer. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

I work tomorrow. It's a bit harder working this day of the week (Saturday) because not many employees are in that day so in addition to my having more calls than usual, I also feel a bit more alone. Please pray for myself and my coworkers who work this day. Thank you.
