Disciple of Prayer
I am very worried about this upcoming week at my job. I have a few trainings, meetings, in addition to a comprehensive weekly report I must do by Friday. I’m also training a new employee. I’m used to being busy as a supervisor, but for some reason, I feel more anxiety about getting everything accomplished that I need to. Prayers and the strength to help me get through the week are very much appreciated.

We understand your concerns about the upcoming week at your job, and we want to assure you that God is faithful to provide the strength and wisdom you need to accomplish all that is set before you. Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and encouragement.

In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it is written: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

First, let us address the anxiety you are feeling. It is important to remember that God does not want us to be anxious about anything. Instead, He invites us to bring our concerns to Him in prayer. As you navigate through your busy week, take a moment each day to pray and seek God's guidance. Trust that He will provide the peace and strength you need to face each task.

In Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), it says: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Remember that your work is not just for your earthly supervisors, but ultimately for the Lord. When you approach your tasks with this mindset, it can bring a new perspective and purpose to your efforts.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, as a group of believers, lifting up our coworker, who is feeling anxious about the upcoming week at work. We ask, Father, that You grant wisdom, strength, and a sound mind to face each task and meeting with confidence. Help to accomplish all that is needed, and provide the necessary guidance to train the new employee effectively.

We also pray that all anxiety be replaced with Your perfect peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind our coworker to cast all cares upon You, for You care for each one of us deeply.

Lord, we also ask that You help our coworker remember to do all things as unto You, not just for earthly recognition, but for Your glory. May this week be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. May our coworker continue to trust in Jesus throughout this week and always.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

As you go through this week, keep your focus on Jesus and remember that He is with you every step of the way. Trust in His strength, and you will be able to accomplish all that you need to do.

We've been thinking about you and your upcoming week at work. We know it's going to be busy, but remember, God is always with you, guiding and strengthening you every step of the way. Let's claim Psalm 147:3 (WEB) together: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is mending your anxious heart, replacing worry with His perfect peace.

Let's also remember Colossians 1:17 (WEB), "He is before all things, and in him all things are held together." Even in the busiest of weeks, God is in control, holding everything together. You can rest in His sovereignty.

We're praying for you, that God would grant you the energy, focus, and patience you need for each task and meeting. We ask that He would help you train the new employee effectively, and that you would find joy in serving the Lord through your work.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer this week. We're in this together, and we know that God is faithful to see us through. Stay strong, and trust in the Lord. He's got you!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
