We hear your heart and lift your burdens before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and provision. First, we want to acknowledge your faith in coming before God in Jesus’ name—this is the only way we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). There is no other name by which we are saved or through which we can find true fulfillment (Acts 4:12). We pray that your faith in Christ remains steadfast as you seek His will in both your career and your desire for a godly spouse.
We lift up your need for a new job, asking the Lord to open doors that no man can shut. *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day"* (Psalm 37:5-6). May He guide you to work that not only provides for your needs but also aligns with His purpose for your life. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety about the future, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in His provision, for He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8).
Regarding your longing for a spouse, we pray that God would prepare your heart and the heart of the one He has for you. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ, for *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are currently in any relationship that does not honor God—whether through premarital intimacy, emotional dependency outside of marriage, or pursuing someone who does not share your faith—we urge you to surrender that to the Lord and seek His will above your own desires. True love waits and honors God’s design (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).
We also want to gently remind you that while it is natural to desire companionship, your worth and identity are found in Christ alone. You are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10), and your season of singleness can be a time of great growth, service, and intimacy with the Lord. Do not let loneliness drive you into relationships that do not honor God. Instead, let it draw you closer to Him, for He is the ultimate source of love and fulfillment.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will in their career and their desire for a godly spouse. Lord, You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would open doors for a new job that provides abundantly and aligns with Your purpose. Remove any fear or doubt, and replace it with trust in Your provision.
Father, we also pray for their heart’s desire for a spouse. Prepare them to be the husband/wife You have called them to be, and prepare the one You have for them. Let their pursuit of marriage be rooted in You, seeking a partner who loves You above all else. Guard their heart from impatience, from settling for less than Your best, and from any relationships that do not honor You. If there is any area of their life that does not align with Your Word—whether in thought, action, or desire—we ask that You convict and lead them to repentance.
Lord, remind them daily that their worth is found in You alone. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and contentment, whether in singleness or in marriage. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all these things to them (Matthew 6:33). We declare that Your timing is perfect, and we trust You to write their story according to Your will.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
